"Just now, a woman by the name of Jane Collins was found dead in the secluded part of the apartment's parking lot last night." The news anchor reported as he looks at the script. "The authorities stated that it was a homicide due a gun shot right through her forehead that caused her death. The suspect was still not identified."

"Another workload.. This is the third time in one week." Hank sighed deeply as he watches the television early morning. The RK800 was cooking breakfast in the kitchen and didn't really paid attention on the news. "The other crime is clearly linked to each other. What do you think, Connor?"

"It looks like it." The android mumbled and as he cooks.

"So how's your sleep over with Nines last night?" The old police lieutenant asked as the brunette froze a little, but Anderson didn't noticed it

"It was fun, we played video games together." Connor replied as he places the newly cook food in a plate.

"I see, I was surprised that you came home early." Hank chuckled.

"I need to cook food for you, of course." The brunette added and placed the plate on the small dining table.

"I can cook, you know." Lieutenant Anderson said proudly.

"Yes, but you're always lazy."

Hank chuckled and turned off the television. He walked over to the dining table, scanning the food. "You're getting good at cooking each day."

"Thank you, lieutenant." Connor smiled brightly as he placed the old man's coffee mug with a Grumpy Cat print on it.

"Connor, can we talk?" The RK900 suddenly approach the RK800 in his desk.

The smaller brunette's innocent smile suddenly turned into a frown as he pulled Nines into a secluded area.

"Did you told Hank something about last night?" The android frowned as he shoves the RK900 in the wall.

"He called, what do you think I'll tell him?" Nines replied back that made Connor even more annoyed.

"What did you told him?"

"That we're playing video games that's all." Nines was a bit afraid now.

"Good." Connor snapped back to his innocent smile. "I heard your rat boyfriend was diagnosed with depression."

Nines felt horrified. But he composed himself not to show it.

"It'll be easy to make his death a suicide, isn't it?" Connor chuckled darkly.

"Please don't." The tall android begged.

"Then cover my trace, and be my alibi." The RK800 grinned and walked away.

"You okay?" Gavin suddenly popped out of nowhere that made the tall android startled. "You're even more paler now."

"I-I'm fine.." He replied. Still has that anxious tone.

"Nines, I can tell something is wrong. You sound like you're gonna cry or something." the detective added and cocked his head.

"You're exaggerating it, Detective." the machine chuckled a little. "I am really fine."

"Yeah, sure.. Cmon, we have a crime scene to check on." Gavin laughed. "And there's a newly opened pizzeria not so far from my place, we should check it out."

"Where the hell have you been?" Hank asked the RK800. "This is your third time going out without my knowing."

Suddenly a news flash was heard from the opened television.

"A Police Detective was found unconscious in his apartment just a while ago. It was rumored as an attempted murder according to witnesses."

"Holy shi*t, is that Reed?'' Hank stood up as he watches the police officer being rushed to the hospital. "Connor..?"

"Yes, lieutenant?" He suddenly frowned darkly at the old man.

"You did that, didn't you? Also the murders the past few weeks?" Hank slowly reaches his gun on the side table. He finally pieced the puzzle together realizing the android partner he trusted was a different person.

"Why are you accusing me with a crime, Hank?" Connor gets closer as he slowly pulls out his gun from behind. "Do you have a proof?"

"The blood stained shirt I saw earlier, will that be enough?" The police lieutenant added.

The android suddenly tackled the gray haired man.

His vision suddenly turned black as the Saint Bernard barks loudly.
