Chapter 11

Melanie's POV~

I was glad Cameron was back. I knew it was only a couple hours he was gone but I still missed him like crazy. "So how's she been?" Cameron asked referring to the baby. "She's good. I've had a little pain but it's fine." "Good. I love you both." He said giving me a kiss then my stomach. "C'mon let's go to sleep." He said grabbing my hand and laying down. "I missed you lots. I'm just glad to have you back home Cameron. I really am." "I missed you too. I'm glad to be back with my family. Are you still mad at me?" "No. Just happy." I gave him a kiss and we both drifted off to sleep. I woke up and saw my phone had texts on it. It was my friend Mary.

Mary-Hey Mel. I'm back in town do you want to go shopping later?

Me-Yeah sure. I'll pick you up at around 3:30?

Mary-Perfect. See ya later

I saw it was 10:00 so I got in the shower and changed. Cameron came back in the room with a bowl if cereal. "Babe you could've waited I would've made us breakfast." "It's okay Mel." "Later I'm going shopping with Mary around 3:30." "Okay. I'm probably gonna go with Taylor and we might bowl with the guys." "Okay. I'll pick Derek up after shopping." He nodded and I went downstairs. I decided just to eat a Toaster Strudel instead of like a gourmet breakfast. I was done eating at around 11:30 so I sat on the couch and took a nap. "Babe. Wake up it's 3:00." Cameron woke me up. "Okay. Thanks Cam." He nodded. "I'm going out with the guys. I'll call you later. Have a good day babe." He said grabbing his keys. I got in my car and drove to Mary's hotel. "Hey Mel!" "Hey Mary!" We shopped for a while. I got back at around 7:00 and picked up Derek. I called Cameron to see when he was coming home because Derek was asking for him. "Hey Cam when are you coming home?" "I don't know. I'll call you when I know." "Okay Bye." Derek and I just sat on the couch and watched some movies. He got tired so I tucked him into bed. I ended up falling asleep waiting for Cameron. I heard the door open. It was Cameron but he wasn't alone. He closed the door and put her against the wall. They started kissing. I couldn't believe he was cheating on me. "So this is your idea of bowling with the guys huh?" "Mel." He walked towards me and I could smell he had drunk more than enough. "Don't touch me. Just go. I don't want to see you. What am I supposed to say to your son who's been waiting all day for you?! We have a family Cameron. You get out of my house!" I yelled at the random girl. She walked out. I walked upstairs and went to sleep. I just couldn't believe he would do this. I never thought he was like this. I fell asleep but after a while he came to bed. "Melanie. I'm sorry. I Love You." I didn't answer. I wanted to say those words but I just couldn't. I went to sleep. I woke up and saw Cameron getting dressed. "Hey Babe." "Babe? Do you not remember what you did last night?" "Wait. What? I don't remember. I was at the bar after bowling with the guys yesterday." "Yeah I could tell." "What happened Mel? I'm sorry I didn't know what I was doing." "Cameron you brought a girl home! You were kissing her and touching her all over. If I wasn't home you probably would've done it with her! I can't believe you would go this far." Tears started to form in his eyes I could tell he couldn't believe it either. "Melanie I'm so sorry. I was wasted yesterday. I didn't know what I was doing." Tears escaped his eyes. "Cameron I understand that but you know we have a family. You can't just get drunk whenever you want and expect me to forgive you for your mistakes." "I understand. I'm sorry Melanie. Just know that I didn't do it on purpose. I do care about us and about this family."
