Melanie's POV~

I haven't been feeling so good lately. I might be pregnant again. But it's too soon. I took a test. Positive. "Cameron! Can you come up please!" "Yeah what do- W-Why are you holding that?" He said nervously pointing to the test. "It's positive." "Oh. Well we can get through this." I went and laid down as Cameron headed downstairs. I woke up the next morning to a Derek jumping on the bed. "Morning Mom. I'm hungry." "Okay I'll make you breakfast. Where's your Dad?" "He left last night but never came back." My heart sunk to my stomach. He left because of the pregnancy. I decided to text him.

M-Where'd you go?

C-I can't do this. I'm sorry Mel but 3 kids is too much

M-Too much?! How do you think I feel? You just left me here with our kids Cameron! How dare you?!

C-I'm sorry. Just know that I'll always love you.

M-Bullshit! If you really loved or even cared you would've have left your freaking family. How dare you?!

C-Mel please understand

M-I can't! You left your 7 year old to God knows where!? And now you're apologizing?

C-I know it's gonna be hard. But you're strong

M-I'll give you 3 days to come back. If you don't then I'm filing for a divorce and taking custody of Derek and Emma. Understood?

He read the text but didn't answer. Now I'm just pissed. He tried apologizing but it sorry wasn't going to cut it. And he should know that.

*3 Days Later*

He hasn't called or texted to check up on the kids or anything. It was really it. We were really done. And I couldn't believe it. I should just wait before I file anything. Wait what am I saying?! He left. Someone knocked at the door. "Carter what're you doing here?!" "I heard about Cameron leaving. I'm sorry. Just know I'll be here for you." "Thanks Carter." He left as I closed the door. I didn't trust him. I just said that so he wouldn't bug me or anything. I fell asleep for a while on the couch. I heard Cameron's laptop ring. I saw the messages from his phone was hooked up. They were texts from Carter and Tiffany.
