Chapter 3

Cameron's POV~

I changed and took Derek out to the pool. We played in the shallow end. After a while I saw Melanie walk out. "Hey Mel." "Hey Cam." She walked in and started playing around with him. We were just spending quality time together. I was glad because we needed something to take our minds off of things. She seemed happy. "I'm sorry Mel. I truly am." "It's okay Cam. I forgive you. I know you didn't do anything. You came clean and that was something brave." I gave her a kiss and we stayed playing in the water. After a while of playing we went back inside. I waited for Mel to come out the shower so I could get in. Someone knocked on the door. "Hey Nash." "What the hell's wrong with you?! Cheating on my sister? Cam I thought you better than that!" He said as he pushed me against the wall. "Nash you don't understand-" "No. I do. Melanie and Derek need you and instead you decide to go off with someone!" "Nash let me explain-" "Nash let go of him. Now." Mel said coming down the stairs. "Mel. He cheated on you." "He told me already. Now chill out it's fine. He explained and I forgive him." "Wait. What?" I explained to him what happened and he understood afterwards. "Oh. Sorry about earlier Cam." "It's okay. I would've done the same." Derek came running downstairs. "Uncle Nash!!" "Derek!! How you been buddy?" "Good Uncle Nash." He said as he ran into his arms. They hugged tightly and Derek sat in between Cameron and I. We all played and talked in the living room. "Do you want to invite Amber over for dinner Nash?" Amber was his fiancée. She was really nice and pretty. I was happy for my brother that he found someone for him. "If that's okay with you." "Yeah totally." "Okay. Thanks Mel." He walked outside and called her. Cameron came downstairs. "So what's he doing?" "He fell asleep in my arms so I laid him down." "Oh ok. Nash is inviting Amber over for dinner." We set up the table and waited for Amber to arrive. She got here and we let her in. "Hey Amber!" "Hey Mel!" I gave her a hug and we sat down to eat dinner. In the middle of dinner I decided to tell them that I was pregnant. "So I have news Nash." "Ok. What is it?" "So Cameron and I have decided not to divorce anymore. And I'm pregnant." "Wait. What? You're pregnant?!" "Yeah." "When'd you find out?" "Last night. I have an appointment in a week or 2 to see how far along I am." "Oh. Congratulations guys." He said giving Cameron and I both hugs. "Yeah congrats Cam and Mel." Amber said. We resumed to dinner and we hug out for a bit. "You guys can stay over tonight if you'd like. We have extra clothes and stuff." They went upstairs to the guest bedroom and I gave Amber extra clothes to sleep in. Afterwards I laid down next to Cameron. "I love you and this baby of ours. I'll never leave you or Derek or the baby. I promise. I'll always love you even when it might not seem like it." "I love you too Cameron." I gave him a kiss and we both fell asleep.
