*1 Month Later*

Melanie's POV~

"Cameron? Melanie?" The nurse walked out. "Yes?" "She's ready. You can take her home now." We were finally ready to take her home. She has learned to breathe on her own so she doesn't need a tank. "Can i hold her first?" I asked Cam. "Yeah." I held her in my arms for the first time in a month since she was born. She was a precious blue eyed baby with dark brown hair. "She's beautiful." I whispered. Cameron gave her a kiss on the forehead. I handed her over to Cameron. "It's nice holding her for the first time." He said as he looked up at me. "She's ours now." I said with a smile. We drove home and put her in the crib as she fell asleep. "I'm glad to have her home. Finally." Cameron said as he hugged me. "I Love You Cam." "I Love You Too." I gave him a kiss and headed to the door as someone knocked. "Hi Mom." Derek said as he gave me a hug. "Hi Derek. Hey Alex. Hey Lox." "Hi Mel." "Where's Jacob?" "He had to go to a meeting." "Oh." "Where's my sister?" "Upstairs in her crib." He ran upstairs with Alex as Cameron and I stayed in the living room with Lox. "So how's she doing?" "Better. She gets stronger everyday which I'm glad about." We talked about Emma until I heard her crying. I was headed upstairs until D came running down. "Mom! Dad! Emma's crying!!" "I know D. It's okay. I'll be right there." I walked up to her room. I picked her up and walked downstairs. Lox wanted to hold her so I handed her over. "She's so small and adorable." Alex and D were headed downstairs. "Mom. Can I carry her?" I nodded and took her from Lox. Derek sat down ready to hold her. I gently placed her in his arms and stood in front of him just to make sure nothing happened. "Hi Emma Sophia. I'm your brother Derek." D whispered in her ear but everyone could hear. He then gave her a kiss on the cheek. I smiled at the fact knowing that she was home and with her family that loved her. Derek started rocking her and she soon fell asleep in his arms. I took her back upstairs and placed her in the crib. I went downstairs to the kitchen. As I was halfway to the living room someone knocked at the door. I opened the door and saw Carter standing there. I stepped out since Derek and Alex were here I didn't want to make a scene. "What're you doing here Carter?" "I saw you guys come home with Emma." I didn't know how he knew her name but I remembered that Cameron and I were on a magazine. "We did. But you still didn't answer my question. Why are you here?" "I just wanted to see her." "Wait. So you're saying you came here to see Emma? Why? If you left your own kid. I don't want him seeing you and neither does Lox." "He's in there? Can I see him?" "No Carter. I'm not letting you inside-" He pushed passed me and barged inside.

Cameron's POV~

I heard the door open. I saw Carter walk in the living room and I jumped up from the couch. "Derek take Alex upstairs." "Why?" "Just go!" They rushed upstairs. "What're you doing here Carter?" "I wanted to come visit the kids." "Visit? You wouldn't have to if you didn't leave your family for another woman." "That's none of your business Cameron." I then saw Jacob walk in behind Carter. He tapped his shoulder. Carter turned around. "What do you want Jacob?" As soon as he said that Jacob took a swing at his face. "For you to NEVER come near this family again!!" Carter stood up holding his jaw. "Or what? I can come visit my son-" "No you can't. Because he's not your son Carter. He's mine and Mahogany's. Nothing's going to change that."
