*Couple Months Later*

Melanie's POV~

"Cameron. The baby's coming!" "Um. Okay I'll go get the bags." I nodded and got up from the couch. I walked to the car and saw Derek and Cameron rush out. Cameron got in the car and so did Derek. We dropped Derek off at Mahogany's house and we got to the hospital. "How you feeling?" "Calm. Calmer than I did with Derek." "I can tell. I'm happy our daughter's coming. I Love You Mel." "I Love You Too Cam." We arrived and he rushed to get me a room.

Cameron's POV~

Our daughter, Emma Sophia, was born. But they found she had some breathing problems so they quickly took her away. Mel was on medications so she wasn't really stable but they quickly warred off. "Cameron. Where's Emma?" "They took her. She had breathing problems." I saw tears roll down her cheeks. "Melanie. It'll be okay. She's in good hands." "Cameron. My daughter can't breathe on her her own. All I'm worried about right now is her." "I'll go check on her okay?" She nodded. I wiped the tears away with my thumbs. I went to the baby nursery and saw her Hooked up to the tubes. I couldn't believe a small delicate human being was going through that. I saw the nurse come out. "Excuse me. I'm Emma's dad. I was wondering if there was any chance that her mother can come hold her?" "I'm sorry to tell you this but she'll have to spend about 2 weeks in there in order to make it. She'll have to wait until she's fine to be put in a regular crib." I was slowly processing what the nurse said. She's on the verge of life and death. My daughter didn't deserve any of this. I headed back to the room. "Cameron. Can I see her?" "Yeah. But you can't hold her until a couple weeks." "W-Why not?" "She needs to spend about 2 weeks in her special crib if we want her to make it." She was now bawling her eyes out. "Cam she doesn't deserve this! She's just a small human being. She hasn't done anything to deserve this." I pulled her in for a hug. "I know. When you're good tell me and we can go see her through the glass." She nodded as she cried into my shirt. I pulled away and looked into her crystal blue eyes. "She's going to be okay. Our daughter Emma Sophia Dallas will be just fine Melanie. I promise you." I kissed her and helped her up.
