Brooklyn made me smile in ways I never thought could happen before. As we galloped towards the creek, I heard a persons cry and so did Zeus. He snorted and pulled his head in the direction coming to a slow stop.
"Come on boy" I whispered to him.
"Is anyone there!" I called out into the distance. A familiar man jumped out of the trees, Zeus reared at the unexpected action and I felt my body fall to the ground. His hands picked me up by the collar of my shirt. I felt another pair of hands on my arms holding me back as he zip tied my wrists together.
"Walk!" The deep voice yelled pushing me forward. I regained my balance before falling face first into the dirt.
"People are going to look for me! My father will have your head!" I yelled at them.
"I don't think so kid" the man chuckled, he smelt of smoke and liquor. We trekked through the beach and over the sand dunes until we hit a small boat shed. It was freezing as we entered the small room. I was pushed into a corner of the room while the two men took a seat at the table. I leaned my head against the wall and looked out to the beach.
Come on Brooklyn, find me!
Her smile came into my mind, the way she showed Pin up. I knew if I told her the truth she would never forgive me. But I had to do it, I was protecting myself, protecting our future.
"What are you smiling at!" The old man yelled grabbing me by my collar and lifting me up to face him.
"None of your damn business!" I snapped.
"Oh come on boss isn't it obvious?" The younger man asked, he had a few missing teeth and a large wart on his cheek.
"What!" His boss yelled dropping me back to the ground.
"Its a girl!" The younger man cooed.
"You reckon she's coming for you!" The man chuckled.
"You're wrong!" He yelled.
"No it's not that, I'm smiling because I got to know her" I said laying my head back against the wall and looking out to the window. I saw a few riders make their way closer to the boat shed, but none of them were close enough to spot me and I was about to risk my life for it.A few hours had passed and it was dark, I was hungry and thirsty. The cold was getting harsher and I shivered in the corner. The two men drank and smoked while playing poker.
"How long are we planning to sit here?" I asked.
"As long as it takes, shut up!" The man yelled.
"I'm hungry!" I whined. The old man stood up and made the two long strides over to me. He towered over me.
"I don't care! Now shut up!" He screamed. His spit flew onto my cheek and using my shoulder I wiped it away.
"I need water!" I complained. The mans face turned red.
"Shut the hell up!" He yelled.
"Or what?" I asked smugly. I was not expecting what I got in return. His fist hit my face, I felt blood trail down my lip on to my chin.
"Anything else to say?" The man yelled.
"My old man hits harder then you" I shrugged. The younger man stood between us.
"The boss will kill us if we hurt him, go get some fresh air" he offered. The older man grabbed the bottle of whiskey from the table and slammed the boat shed door shut.
"Does this person want me dead?" I asked.
"No, he just wants you gone" the man explained.
"What's the difference?" I asked.
"Because after a week, everyone will assume you're dead and will stop looking, because nobody cares" he mumbled.
I remembered those words. I remember exactly who said them.
"It's my father, he paid you to get rid of me didn't he?" I asked.
"You're a smart kid, unfortunate really" he sighed.
Two white horses on the beach caught my eye. One blonde and one brunette girl. Piper and Brooklyn. I knew she was coming.
"I'm sorry" I said.
"For what?" He asked. I jumped from my spot running him into the wall and pushing him to the ground I fumbled with the door handle and when I finally got it open I yelled out for them.
"Pip!" I yelled as loud as I could with a dry throat. A hand grabbed my throat and pushed me back inside. He threw me to the other side of the room and pounced on me, a few punches to the side of the face, a few to my mouth but I took it without a cry or a yell. I had a high pain tolerance.
"Callum!" A recognisable voice called from a few metres away.
"Call our to her" the man whispered, a small pocket knife to my throat.
"In here" I called as the cold metal was pressing firmly into my throat.A familiar blonde figure opened the door and gasped at the sight of me.
"Sit down and shut up" the man ordered. Brooklyn took a seat and her blue eyes told me all I needed to know. Piper had a plan.
"She's quite pretty" the older man smiled at Brooklyn.
"Stay the hell away from her!" I yelled.
"Or what?" The man asked swinging the knife around in his hand.
"Where's your friend?" The man asked eyeing Brooklyn.
"She went back to switch horses" Brooklyn answered.
"Is that right?" The man asked.
"Yeah horses do get tired" she rolled her eyes.
A slap went across her face and I could see the tears pricking in her eyes as much as she tried to hold them back.
"Don't touch her!" I yelled kicking the mans legs out from under him. He fell into his back and groaned in pain.
"You're dead kid!" He moaned.
"Run Brooklyn!" I yelled at the open door. She resisted looking back at me.
"Go!" I ordered her. She nodded and jumped from her spot against the wall. I could her Kriegers nicker from outside. He snorted as she took off in a gallop. I watched her ride down the beach and back towards Holloway.
The man finally found his legs to get up after a long struggle.
"She's only in it for the money" he sneered.
"At least she's in it, don't see any women chasing you" I chuckled at him. The man grabbed me by the throat once again and held me against the wall, my feet were off the ground and I could feel myself trying to catch my breath as he tightened his grasp.
"Hands off of the boy!" James yelled holding an old rifle from Holloway. Piper and Brooklyn stood close behind him as well as Alex and Gabby. Alex and James tied the man up with old rope from the barn while the other man still laid unconscious from the hard hit his head took. James pulled me into a hug before escorting the man out of the boat shed. My eyes were only on Brooklyn and her eyes were on her boots the whole time. Piper and Gabby both rolled their eyes pushing Brooklyn towards me.
"We're going to go wait outside" Gabby stayed pulling Piper outside.
"Are you okay?" I asked looking at her bloody lip.
"Are you?" She asked finally looking up at me.
"I will be" I nodded. Brooklyn wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me into a tight hug. I pulled out of the hug, one of my hands sat on her waist while the other sat on her jawline. I pulled her into a soft kiss making sure to be careful of both our split lips.
"I love you Brooklyn" I found myself whispering. Brooklyn pulled out of the kiss and looked at me. She opened her mouth to say something.
"Don't... don't say anything now" I said cutting her off. She nodded and wrapped her arms around me once again.

Hey guys!
What did you think of this chapter? What do you think of Callum's point of view, especially involving his father. He told her he loved her! Sorry I'm just so happy I finally got to right that in. I feel like in the show they made him seem like such an ass which he was but I want to write about that, about what happened with Susie and Mia and everyone. I know Pin seems like a bit of an ass right now but there will be reasoning behind it and Zin (Zoe + Pin) moments will be coming I promise!
Love you guys
xx
