Soren's Pov.
"Oh god you have no idea how much I missed your face."Kevin said eagerly
I laughed. "Did someone switch teams?"I raised my eyebrows
He lightly hit me on the shoulder. "I'm not gay idiot."
I sat up smiling. "Tell me more about you and Emma."I told him
He immediately had this look come over his face and he lit up in joy. "She's amazing. I mean I just love her and we wouldn't have met if you didn't get hit by a car. So thanks bro."He said laughing
Wow getting hit by a car is a way to set up your best friend with a girl? Who knew.
"So. Um. About Claire."I started, he nodded expecting this
"She's good. I gave her the shoes."My eyes widened
"Its just."
"What?"
"She's currently dating Julian."He told me, I frowned
"I'm worried Julian is not treating her right."I told him concerned
He sighed. "Soren he loves her."
"She was hurt! I don't like seeing her hurt. I. I care about her. I love her." I told him tears forming around my eyes.
He looked away. "Soren I'm so sorry she doesn't like you."He told me
"She kissed me though."I said under my breath
Emma came in at this time and sat down next to me. I shooed Kevin and he left giving Emma a kiss on her forehead.
"I know what you did for me. Thank you. Thank you for being there for Kevin."I told her honestly
She smiled and I could see why Kevin found her attractive. She had big eyes and a kind face.
"Yo two done talking about me?"Kevin said walking back inside
She nodded and gave him a big kiss that made me semi jealous. I mean Kevin had a girlfriend while I was still stuck in the friend zone.
"I'm gonna see Rose before her shift ends."She said walking out
"Don't worry you will get a good girl. Better than Claire."He told me
I shook my head. "I will get her."I told him
He shrugged taking out a pack of cards for us to play.

Emma's Pov.
I quickly made my ways through the halls. I found my way to where the nurses station was and looked for Rose. I couldn't find her anywhere. I walked through the hallway counting my footsteps 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9. I continued counting until I made it to the gift shop.
"Can I help you?"The lady asked
"I'm looking for something for my. Boyfriend."I said, liking the way the word sounded.
I made my way through a maze of stuffed animals and get well cards and found something perfect for Kevin.
"That one."I told the lady pointing at the pink catheter.
She rung it up and I also got a rose and a card that said be mine. I figured Kevin would find it funny.
Then I started making my way back to Soren's room.
