Chapter 16

A/N: I'm sorry for not posting, in the middle of getting a house put on our property so I've been distracted.

"You're not going," Norrix stated as he walked into my room with Ryder and Lord Boe, he stood in front of the chair I was lounging in with his arms crossed over his chest.

I knew this was coming so I wasn't surprised, I played it cool by looking up at them with a bored expression before looking down at  my nails and said in a bored and a matter of a fact tone, "you really don't have a choice in the matter Norrix, I am the only one who knows where they are. Besides what would be said of you fighting all my battles for me? I've thought this through and frankly I want them dead and I wouldn't mind having a hand in the pot that makes this happen, I've come to find it can be quite....exhilarating to say the least. So I'll be going weather you like it or not, you only have two choices, one being you come with me or two I go by myself and have the void lock you all here." I glance up from my nails to the 3 men in front of me as a shocked expression takes over their face before anger set in.

"Excuse me? Want to repeat yourself Tana? Don't threaten me," Norrix said his expression hardening.

"There was no threat in what I said but I guess I'll be headed out then..." I said as I stood up, Ryder made a move to grab me but I blinked to the door. I looked back to the men who now looked confused, "Right I perused a bit more of my mothers books, I found a teleportation spell, now you guys wanna come or stay?"

Lord Boe was the first to speak up, "I want to come, can you teleport us?" he asked racing over to me with a wide grin.

Ryder and Norrix grumbled that they were coming before making their way to me. I grab Norrix's hand with one of mine and Lord Boe's hand with the other and had Ryder stand behind me holding my shoulders. Without warning then I teleport us into the middle of the believer's camp, instantly we were no longer in my room but standing beside a fire and in front of about 30 men and literally the only thing I could think to do as they all stared at us stunned was to say, "Boo," and laughing like a manic throwing my head back.

"GET HER!" as soon as someone yelled that I stopped laughing snapping my head forward, I knew my eyes were glowing purple and blue because well I could see the light switching back forth very quickly but I could also feel the energies coursing through my body. With a flick of my wrist the entire camp is surrounded by fire, no way out. In the matter of seconds they were firing at us.

"Tana why the fuck did you put us right in the middle of this?!" Ryder yelled as he fought.

"It'd be more fun this way." I said as I felt a knife pierce just under my ribcage, though it didn't hurt, anger from deep within started to rise. I turned to look at the person that stabbed me seeing my reflection in his eyes I could my eyes were completely purple now telling me that Annilit had taken over, "That was a mistake," I growled in a voice not my own right before I shift in less then a second my body is replaced by my dragon, I let out a roar the shook the ground itself as I looked around the camp everyone's eyes were on me. Without knowing what I was doing I felt energy building around me being absorbed into my body. As I gazed down at the believers they started dropping to their knees begging for mercy as a purple mist was pulled out of them and trailing its way to me which I was absorbing. One by one they turned to dust being taken by the wind until only Ryder, Lord Boe, Norrix, and I were left. I lifted my head to the sky and let out a blood curdling roar before I started to shift back, as I started shifting back I heard Lord Boe say, "I didn't know Death Dragons could do that."

"Well that was easy." I said as I turned to look at them.

"Tana what the hell just happened?" Ryder asked standing ridged.

"I don't kno-" I started to say but Annilit took over and spoke to them, in her other worldly voice, "I took their souls."

"How? Can all Death Dragons do that?" Norrix asked, he was on edge as was everyone.

Annilit let out a menacing chuckle, "No but I am not just a run of the mill Death dragon I am the mother of all Dragons, the Goddess of all Dragon Spirits...feared, loved, and worshiped by all Dragon Spirits. I decide who gets matched and I have never found one worthy of myself until Tana. I have control over not only Dragon lives but all lives, though I may not be able to have the full effect on you know who but it will weaken him some."

Lord Boe gasped at her words before dropping to his knees and closing his as he mumbled in a foreign language while Norrix and Ryder stared wide eyed and silent. "Enough Lord Boe now is not the time for this." Annilit said, Lord Boe nodded as he stood up. With that Annilit gave me back control and went silent.

"Well that was unexpected, ready to go home guys?" I asked looking between all three of them.
