Chapter 17

I teleported everyone back to the castle, right in front of where the portal door is suppose to be. Letting go of everyone I walked up to the wall and knocked saying, "Celestia everything's been taken care of, can you bring the door back?" as I finished speaking the door reappeared and swung open.

"Are you okay? are the ones in the human world dealt with?" Celestia's voices drifted out to us sounded worried.

"Yes everything is good now." I said.

"Good, Good." She replied.

"Celestia?" Norrix said hesitantly before stepping forward.

"Hello Norrix..." She whispered as we all stepped into the void, she sounded closer then she usually did. As the door closed behind us the air in front of us started to shimmer and then Celestia took form in front of us.

Norrix stepped up to her searching her face while he slowly bought his hand up to her face, almost unsure of his actions, "How?" he asked as his trembling hand made contact with her face, like she actually had a body...

"I can only do this in here, I can only have a body in here...Norrix I am so sorry but everything had to be this way, everything had to happen a certain way and me dying was something that couldn't change it had to happen and I couldn't tell anyone..." she said placing her hand on his chest, "I didn't want to leave you but I did it for our daughter, I did it for all of us. I died because I knew it wasn't forever."

"What do you mean?" Norrix asked confused. "What do you mean not forever?"

"Norrix there are things I've never told you about myself, one being that I'm the daughter of a god and I can be brought back with his and Tana's help...I'll be able to leave the void."

"Who's your father?" Ryder asked.

"Raijin," she replied barely sparing him a glance before she looks back up at Norrix, "I needed to die so they wouldn't be able plan a defense against my powers. I'm sorry Norrix I know it hurt but I needed you to grieve, to make it real."

"I have you back  how could I be mad?" Norrix asked before grabbing her face and bringing his lips to hers.

I looked at Ryder and whispered, "Lets give them some privacy yea?" he nodded and the three of us left the void.

"Well this has been one hell of a day," Lord Boe said with a chuckle, "I should make more trips here it's much more entertaining then home." Both Ryder and I could help but laugh.

"Glad we could be of service to you." I said.

"So not only are you are Vampire princess, a witch, a Shape Shifter, and a Dragon spirit but you're a Goddess too? I gotta say you are becoming more one of a kind by the minute." Lord Boe said staring at me.

"I don't think that my grandfather being a god makes me a goddess." I said tilting my head as I thought about it.

"Goddess in waiting though, you are partly god which means if you are deemed worthy of the title you could ascend to the godly state." Lord Boe stated with a shrug of his shoulders.

"And what could deem me worthy?" I asked curious about the answer, I glanced at Ryder who seemed deep in thought before looking back to Lord Boe.

"Oh I don't know..." He drawled as he leaned close to me smiling, "Maybe selflessly save the entire supernatural world or at least trying to. but you'd only ascend if you die," he leaned away before continuing, "I have a feeling your mother didn't because not all of her really died, she may not even realize she could ascend. Well night I'll see you all in the morning, I'll be dealing with Beth tomorrow." With that he walked off leaving me and Ryder alone in the hallway.

"Is what he said true?" I asked him.

"Yea it is, do you know what this means? That your death doesn't mean the end for you." Ryder said suddenly happy, I huge grin spread across his face even his eyes shone with happiness. I smiled happily back at him.

'Tana I hate to rain on this parade but we need to discuss the mating ritual with Ryder so he can decide if he want to be mates fully' Annilit said. 

"Um Annilit needs to discuss something with us...well with you, it effects you more than me. Maybe we should go to my room, I'm not sure what but it's about some consequences of a mating ritual." I said Grabbing Ryder's hand and heading down the hall towards my room.

"Okay let's go then." Ryder said curiously.
