Back at the castle where Hyrule was bright, Zelda was pacing back and forward in the castle hallways. She was worried for her husband and daughter. Worried about what was happening in the other world that Lyra and Hayate has mentioned.

So many things were running through her head. Were they safe? Have they found more clues to where Link could be? Have they found Link yet?

"Your majesty!" Zelda snapped out of her thoughts, seeing one of the knights approach her. "There are still no sign of her highness, but we will continue to keep watch, and inform you when she's back."

It's been a couple days since her daughter and friend were gone. She should be patient, but she couldn't help but feel worried.

Zelda let out a sigh. "Very well. Please inform me at once when you see Lyra return."

"Yes, your majesty!" With that, the knight hurried away to return to his post.

Zelda let out a sigh as she walked the long, empty hallways. It was so quiet with just her. She truly wished to have everyone back safe and sound. Soon would be ideal, but she knew it would take more time.

Opening the door, Zelda entered her bedroom, closing the door behind her. She walked over towards the drawer, opening it as she pulled out some kind of book.

Opening the book, there were pictures of her and Link from the past. How much she missed seeing his smile. She wished to see it once more.

It was bittersweet showing this to her daughter when she asked. Lyra would always ask what Link looked like. She felt bad for the times that she denied it since she did not wish for Lyra to see her cry while showing her his picture. But she knew she couldn't hide from her forever as she eventually gave in, and showed it to her. She didn't know how she did it that time, but she didn't cry even though she was close.

Zelda felt her eyes getting hot as she pressed her eyes with her sleeve. She shouldn't cry as she cried enough already. She had to remain strong and patient, even though it was eating her alive inside.

Zelda turned to a page where Lyra was first born, seeing Link carry her in his arms. She was grateful that one of the nurses were able to capture that beautiful moment.

Many thoughts were running through Zelda's mind. If Link hadn't been captured, he would've seen her grown up, and the two would've been inseparably close. The thoughts of what if kept playing in her mind.

Not wanting to tear up anymore, Zelda closed the book as she placed it on the side table that was near the bed.

Letting out a sigh, Zelda walked over to the window, opening the curtains to let some light in. She stared out of the window as the scenery looked absolutely breathtaking.

Zelda's eyes wavered, wishing she can share this moment with her family. It has been years since she has been with Link, it was so painful to think about.

Zelda touched the window with her hand. "Link... I hope that you are safe. I miss you so..." Closing her eyes, she let out a sigh through her nose. "I hope that you will meet our daughter soon. She looks so much like you. Even if you only saw her as a newborn, you would recognize her instantly."

Zelda turned her hand that was on the window into a fist. "I know you wish to protect me and her... But the only thing I need right now is you. I've still never given up on finding you, but I'm so terrified at the thought of what's been happening to you... I truly hope that you're still..." She made herself stop, not wanting to think of the worse.

Zelda looked up, seeing a closed door at the other side of the room. Walking towards it, she opened it, seeing her old wedding gown and Link's suit hanging up along with a vase full of silent princesses.

Zelda walked over to the vase, taking one of the flowers out. Her eyes wavered at the sight. "Please come back home safely, Link. Your daughter is out there right now trying to find you. Please, please be alright..."

Emotions were overwhelming her as Zelda fell to her knees. Burying her hands in her face, she started to sob. She didn't want to feel like this any longer. All she wanted was her family to return safely. All she wanted was her family to be together.
