The next morning in the Twilight Realm, Lyra slowly opened her eyes as the morning sun blinded her vision. Still half asleep, she tried to get up but it felt like something was holding her down.
Lyra looked down, seeing a pair of arms wrapped around her. She started to blush, slowly turning around to see who it was.
Her face turned to complete shock, turning redder than a cherry as she saw Hayate's face close to hers. Lyra looked like she was about to scream, but instead, she harshly pushed him off the bed, making him fall over the side.
Hayate slowly got up, rubbing the back of his head. "Geez woman... What was that for?"
"What the hell were you doing sleeping in the same bed with me?!"
Hayate just blinked. "I was? I don't remember getting in the bed with you."
"What do you mean you don't remember?!"
Hayate put his hands up in a defensive way. "I seriously don't remember! I must've slept walk in the middle of the night or something."
Lyra couldn't calm her racing heart. "Fine... I believe you. I know you wouldn't do anything funny like that on purpose."
Out of nowhere, Midna came out from Lyra's shadow. "You two didn't forget that I'm here with you, right?"
Lyra was speechless, still having the blush on her face. Hayate was blushing as well, almost forgetting that they weren't the only two in the room. At the same time, they let out a scream that echoed throughout Zora's Domain.
After that morning craziness, the two went to the inn lobby to order some food for breakfast before heading out. Waiting for a bit, the two received their food as they made their way to a table that had a great view of Zora's Domain.
Sitting at a table, Hayate poured Lyra a cup of coffee. "Here you are, mademoiselle."
Lyra snorted. "What are you supposed to be? A butler?"
"A gentleman."
Lyra giggled at his response. "It seems like I can't faze you with anything." Lyra took a sip of the coffee, taking a bite of her food afterwards.
Hayate took a bite of his food, looking around the area with his eyes. From a distance, he saw a lone guitar leaning against the wall. One of the Zoras must play it he thought. Intrigued, Hayate wiped his mouth with a napkin. "I'm going to ask the owner if I can borrow that."
Lyra arched an eyebrow. "Why do you need a guitar?"
"Remember when you asked what thank you next means?"
"That was a while back, but yeah. Why-" Lyra realized how he was going to answer that question. "Are you serious right now?"
"When am I ever serious?"
"Good point." Lyra took a bite of her food. There was no point in stopping him from doing what he was about to do.
Finishing his food, Hayate went over to one of the Zoras who ran the inn if he could borrow the guitar he saw. Having the guitar in hand, he went back to the table, sitting in his original seat.
Taking a sip of her coffee, Lyra just blinked at Hayate. "Just get it out of your system."
Hayate let out a chuckle. "You know me so well. I'm going to tweek some words to match my experiences." He cleared his throat, tuning the guitar before he started playing the tune.
Thought I'd end up with Mizuki, but she wasn't a match,
Wrote some songs about Laruta, but she had a thing for my dad. While Lyra was sipping her coffee, she spit out right out. "Wait what?!"
