Link had a very strong feeling Ganondorf will come here when he finds out that he's no longer in the cell. He didn't know when, but it felt like something was about to happen soon.

With Zelda in the room with him, the two were thinking about what to do when the time comes. "Zelda... Did you know Lyra has the Triforce of Power?"

Zelda nodded. "Yes, she told me about it. Did you get to meet Midna?"

"You mean that person that came out of her shadow? Yeah. I don't know how to feel about that. Or that she has the other piece of the Triforce like us."

"I feel a bit uneasy about that. I'm sure you do as well."

Link nodded. "Yeah... I don't want her fighting with us. That will only mean putting her in danger if Ganondorf sees that she has the power he's looking for."

Though Zelda understood Link's feelings about wanting to keep their daughter safe, she also knew how it felt to be a sheltered princess. "Link... I know you want to protect Lyra, but you shouldn't overprotect her."

"But if I don't, then she will get hurt. Or worse... I don't want that to happen to her..."

"I understand that, Link. I don't want Lyra to get hurt, but that's also how life is. Sometimes you have to get hurt to live and learn. I'm scared for our daughter, but we shouldn't overprotect her like that."

Link lowered his eyes. "If I lose her too... I wouldn't know how to live with myself... I don't want to lose our daughter, Zelda! I just..." He let out a sigh. "I just don't want to fail to protect her..."

Zelda saw that Link was trying to hold back tears. She had never seen him let out his emotions in front of her. It worried her that he felt the need to always remain strong in front of her. "Link. Look at me." He turned towards her. She placed her hand on his face. "I know you're scared for Lyra. I am too, I understand how you feel. I know you want to keep her safe, but at the same time... You shouldn't keep her hidden either. Think about it, she went into the Twilight Realm to save you. Doesn't that show how strong our daughter is?"

Link looked at a loss for words. A small smile appeared on his face. "She does have courage and wisdom. I wonder where she gets it from."

Zelda giggled. "From us, of course." Smiling brightly, she grabbed a hold of his hand. "We should be proud of how Lyra turned out. She's a wonderful young lady."

Link nodded. "I agree. She looks a lot like you."

"No! She looks a lot like you!"

Link let out a laugh. "Look at us! We're getting off topic and talking about our daughter!"

Zelda laughed along with him. "You're right! We should be planning for a potential battle right now. We went off track for a moment."

"Yeah..." Link rubbed the back of his head. "Anyway... I was thinking of having some knights be on guard in the front of the castle. But just in case, we should have the knights on all the sides. We'll never know if he'll do a surprise attack."

Zelda nodded. "You're right. And once we hear the news that they are here, we rush where they are."

"It sounds good, but it's kind of dangerous just to rush in."

Zelda snorted. "You're the one to talk."

Link squinted his eyes while smiling. "What does that supposed to mean?"

"You know exactly what I mean, Link!"

"Oh really?" Link pulled Zelda close to him. His lips met with hers, both getting lost in the kiss as it deepened.
