Chapter 25

Outside of the castle, Link and Zelda rushed out to the field to face the enemies who appeared. It was none other than Ganondorf, Zant, Dark Link, and what it appears to be Possessed Zelda.

Both Link and Zelda grunted at the evil versions of themselves, more of Zelda's than Link's. Zelda's eyes were widen at the sight of the other her. "That's me from the Twilight Realm..?"

Link nodded. "Yeah, so we can't hurt them too much."

Zelda felt a bit awkward that she would have to fight against herself from another world. "Alright." Stepping forward, her gaze met Ganondorf who was staring back at her. She felt herself trembling not from fear, but from anger. "Ganondorf!"

Ganondorf smirked at Zelda. "If it isn't Princess- Excuse me, Queen Zelda. It's been awhile, hasn't it?"

Zelda felt her blood boiling. "Don't talk friendly to me! I still will never forgive you for killing my father! How could you do such a thing?!"

Ganondorf let out an evil laugh. "He was a fool to let me in so easily! I was able to manipulate him without using my power. How dense can you be?!"

Zelda clenched her hands into fists. "If I didn't destroy you then, I guarantee that I will destroy you now."

Smirking, Ganondorf eyed Zelda. "What are you going to do? Hide behind your husband like you always do?"

Having a sword resting on her side, Zelda pulled it out. "I will fight along with Link! I'm not that powerless girl that I was back then!"

Link smiled at his wife. "I've never felt so proud of you in my life."

Zelda smiled back. "I'm willing to protect my kingdom no matter what it takes."

Link nodded. "We'll do it together."

Ganondorf crossed his arms. "You three. Take care of the king and queen of Hyrule."

At the same time, Zant, Dark Link, and Possessed Zelda started charging towards the two. Even if it was three against two, Link and Zelda were not going to quiver.

Link and Dark Link clashed swords, both trying to push each other down. It was the battle against the strengths. They were both equally powerful. Despite being from different worlds, the two Links were both one in the same.

Zelda was swinging her sword at Possessed Zelda. Encountering her attacks, Zelda knew that this enemy's magic shouldn't touch her. The consequences would be too much to handle if she failed.

While they were both distracted fighting themselves, Zant saw this as an opportunity to attack the two at the same time. He started spinning violently, the wind picking up beneath his feet.

Link and Zelda were consumed in their battle, now feeling the wind on their backs. Both turning around, they saw Zant heading straight for them. "Mamoru no Yubiwa!"

A giant golden transparent lotus appeared around them. At the same time, it blasted Zant, Dark Link, and Possessed Zelda away from them.

Landing in front of them, they saw Hayate in his fairy form. He had white hair and blue eyes. Transparent wings were on his back. Link's eyes widen at the sight. "Holy crap..! This looks just the power Kagami had when we were fighting Calamity Ganon."

Hayate smiled brightly. "My mom let me borrow her ring and pendant. But I have to give it back after this which kind of sucks. Oh well. These will be passed down to me anyway."

Link smiled. "You protected us right on time. But what were you doing before this?"

"I was gathering up your knights for you."
