Michael - You were currently sitting in the tub, sipping on some water and were watching an episode of Law and Order. Michael was currently in LA, supposed to be home next week sometime and you were on your last leg of your pregnancy. He hated to be so far away, and he wanted you to come with, but you didn’t want to risk anything. You were due next week as well, which excited Michael because he wanted to be home before the baby was due. You got to the last episode of the series, running more hot water when you felt a rather large pain in your lower abdomen. You jolted forwards, letting out a low groan as your mom was downstairs. You had been in the tub for an hour or so now, re-running the water when needed. The pains started to increase and you knew you needed to go to the hospital. You got out of the tub, putting on some comfy clothes and grabbing your phone. You dialed Michael, waddling down the stairs, the pain intensifying. “Hi babe! I did so—” “Yeah that’s nice, but i’m going into labor.” He started choking and you saw your mom, nudging towards the hospital bags as she jumped up. “You’re kidding?” “No, i’m on my way now. I’m sorry.” The call ended and you sighed, holding your mom’s hand as you two went to the car. You started to tear up, not going to have Michael here for the birth of your first child would be such a bummer. You arrived minutes later, getting into the gown and getting your IV in, now letting the contractions take over. You rolled around in bed, grabbing the bed posts because of the pain. You started to cry, your phone ringing. “Hello?” You answered, tears falling down your face as your breathing picked up. “God I wish I was there. Listen to my voice, breathe in and out, in and out. Think about how beautiful she will be when she comes out. Don’t focus on the pain.” You cried harder, moving again. “I need you so bad.” “I know baby, i’m on the flight now. I’ll be there soon.” You were in another 4 hours of labor, until it was time to push. You held your mom’s hand, her coaxing you through it all. After 30 minutes of pushing, you finally gave birth to your precious baby girl. She looked so much like Michael, from the lips to the facial features. After they cleaned her up, took her footprints and cut her cord, she was placed into your arms. “She’s beautiful.” You smiled, your mom kissing your forehead as you both admired your beautiful baby. It was later on when Michael arrived, your baby asleep in her bassinet as you sat up, watching tv. “Oh my god,” You smiled, seeing Michael hovering over her, rubbing her face with his index finger. “I hate I missed it.” He sighed, holding you in his arms as you kissed him. “You’re here now, that’s all the matters.”
Luke - You sat in the car, riding around Sydney with Luke’s family. The plans with your parents got cancelled when they had to suddenly go to work. So you decided to doll up a bit and go out with Luke’s family to eat and shop around a bit. Liz made you bring your hospital bags just in case, because you were now 2 days overdue. Luke was in London now, releasing some music and enjoying his vacation. Of course he was worried, he thought something was going to be wrong, but Liz had to reassure him it was common and everything would be okay. You all arrived at the restaurant and your son started to kick in your stomach then you started to feel sharp pains, thinking it was just Braxton Hicks, you ignored it. You all had so much fun, joking around with each other and of course, enjoying your meals. You on the other hand, could barely keep your meal down. You found it unappealing, the taste not as good as the first bite. You put your fork down, touching your stomach as your baby seemed like he was doing somersaults in your stomach. You let out a quiet sigh, touching your stomach as your baby stopped. Everyone was in their own little conversations so you looked down at your constantly moving bump. “Are you ready to come out?” Another huge kick to your bladder caused you to groan out, a wetness in your pants growing. “Someone call Luke.” His dad spoke, Liz and Jack helping you out to the car. The ride was hectic, Liz coaxing you and rubbing your stomach as Luke was fussing with the boys over the phone. Hours later you walked around the hospital room, Liz arguing with Luke as you tried to walk off the contractions. “Can I please talk to him?” Liz nodded, handing the phone to you as she stepped out of the room. “Baby, hi. How are you doing?” You started to tear up, holding onto the ledge of the wall. “I need you here, Lukey I need you so bad right now.” He sighed into the phone, causing you to cry harder. “I know, listen to me angel. I’m on the plane right now, i’ll be there as fast as I can. You can do this, my mom is going to be there with you.” “I love you.” And with that you hung up, the anesthesiologist coming in. After an hour of pushing, you finally had your baby boy. He looked exactly like Luke, from the blonde hair, to the blue eyes to the cupids bow in his lips. As soon as Luke’s family stepped back in, Luke was trailing behind him, dropping his bag as he came to you two. “Oh my god.” You handed him the small bundle, as a tear fell from his eyes as he sat next to you. “He’s a splitting image of you, son.” Liz said, taking pictures as you kissed Luke’s cheek. “My boy.” He whispered, nervously rocking the bundle in his huge arms as everyone adored the fact that Luke was now a father.
