He’s Your Best Friend and You Try To Kill Yourself/ Have Depression and He Visits You in the Facility You’re Staying In
Ashton:
“Could you tell me which room Y/n Y/l/n is in?” Ashton politely asks the lady behind the counter. “Room 110, right down that hall,” She answers with a kind smile. “Thank you,” Ashton mumbles back as he makes his way down the hall. Eventually he makes it to your room and walks in. “Ash!” You say with a happy smile, “What are you doing here?” “I just wanted to visit my best friend. I miss you.” Ashton smiles slightly. Your stomach fills with butterflies knowing that he cares so much about you. “You didn’t have to come,” You say whilst he walks over to you. “Yes I did,” Ashton says while he looks around your room, “What do you even do here?” “Well, they’re basically just making me open up, they’re trying to ‘heal’ my depression.” You say looking Ashton in the eyes. He frowns when you say this. “You will get better y/n, I promise.” “I know. I just wish that I could outside of this asylum.” You say back. Ashton sits down next to you on your bed and takes your hand in his. “You’ll get out soon. You’re the strongest person I know,” He says, tightening his grasp on your hand. You just nod and rest your head on his shoulder. “Excuse me but y/n’s visiting hours are going to be over in 5 minutes,” A lady in scrubs says to you and Ashton from the doorway. “Sorry I couldn’t stay longer. I’ll come visit you again though, whenever I get the chance.” Ashton gives you a tight hug that lingers for awhile. “Bye,” You say sadly as he puts his jacket on. “Goodbye y/n. I’ll see you soon,” Ashton says even sadder before walking out of the facility without you with him.
Calum:
“Why did you do it?” Calum asks shakily. You let a few tears fall from your eyes before answering, “It was just everything building up.” Calum shakes his head, “Why didn’t you tell anybody that you were feeling like this? Shit, y/n, isn’t that why we have friends?” “Yes, but you just don’t understand Calum,” you say, wishing that Calum would stop talking about what just happened. “That’s because you never gave me a chance to try.” Calum says, starting to get defensive, “You never told me anything y/n! Do you even understand how shocked and scared I was when I got a phone call saying that you tried to kill yourself?!” Your tears were pouring out at this moment. “I’m sorry,” You sob out while covering your face. Calum sighs and loses the angry look in his eyes. “No, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have raised my voice at you… You just really scared me.” He says whilst walking over to you and wrapping his arms around you. “I’m just glad you’re still here with me.”
Luke:
“Hey y/n!” Luke yells as he walks into your room. “Hi,” You say with a sweet smile and a wave. “How was the tour?” “It was amazing, but I didn’t come to talk about me. We always talk about me. Tell me what you’ve been up to.” Luke replies, grabbing a chair and pulling it towards where you were sitting. You play with your hands in your lap, thinking of how to reply. You always try to avoid talking about what happened and what’s still happening with anyone, even Luke. You shrug, “The usual.” Luke’s face slumps into a pout. “C’mon y/n, I just want to know what you’ve been up to. You don’t have to be afraid to tell me.” Luke smiles. You breathe out heavily and look at the wall. “I basically just sit here. I go to a group session to talk about things most days. They’re also making me channel my emotions into sports,” You say. Luke slightly chuckles at this, knowing that you aren’t a sporty girl. You continue, “It’s kind of nice, but I’d much rather be at home, or with you.” Luke’s face lights up slightly, “I wish I could spend every day with you. I’m really sorry that I can’t…” He trails off. “No no no no. Don’t apologize; I know how busy you are and how much this band means to you.” You say quickly. “I just feel bad,” Luke says, “Maybe someday I can bring my guitar in and play for you. I know how much you love singing along with me when I play.” “I would like that,” You say with bright eyes. You never feel happy like you do when Luke’s around. You guys sit in silence for awhile until your counselor shows up at your door, “Sorry y/n but visiting hours are over. Time for group.” She says before walking to the room next to yours and telling another girl. You give Luke an apologetic smile before replacing it with a hug and saying goodbye.
Michael:
“I can’t believe they sent me to this God forsaken place.” You rant to your best friend Michael, as he sits back on your bed. “I mean it just goes to show that they don’t know how I feel. They never gave a second thought about sending me off to some fucking facility.” You sigh and run your fingers through your hair. “Y/n, it really isn’t that bad,” Michael weighs in. “Hah, that’s so easy for you to say. You get to travel the world and spend all your time with your best friends.” You say. “Not all of them.” He says quickly. You frown as you sit down beside him on your bed. “I really miss you all the time y/n.” Michael says almost inaudible. “I always think about you. It kills me that you are going through all of this and that I can’t be here to help you through it. I mean, I love you y/n…” Michael says uneasily. He looks up into your eyes and rests his hand on your knee. “I love you too Michael.” You say with a smile. “No y/n, I mean I really love you. Not just as a friend.” Michael says. Your eyes grow wide as he says this. “W-what?” Before anyone could say more, Michael leaned in to kiss you. You were shocked at first, but soon began to kiss him back. It was short and sweet; it was perfect. Once Michael pulled away you left your eyes closed for a second longer, trying to comprehend what was happening. You opened your eyes to see Michael looking somewhat awkward, “I-I’m sorry I shouldn’t have done that.” He says quickly while scratching the back of his neck. You chuckled, “You have no clue how long I’ve been waiting for you to do that.” Michael grins widely as you say this and you guys begin to kiss again, like no one else exists.
