You’d always warn long t-shirts, or loads of bracelets people thought it was just your style but really you were hiding your scars. You hadn’t even shown your boyfriend Calum, you’d been together for a month and you just couldn’t show him.
You had just taken a shower and taken your bracelets off when you noticed a next from Calum saying he had some time off and he would be around in five minutes. Not thinking you threw the first thing on which was a short sleeve t-shirt and a pair of shorts, in your blinded rush you forgot your bracelets.
You ran downstairs and opened the front door, that’s when you realised. You both sat down on the couch and began watching a movie, you kept your arms crossed so he couldn’t see your scars. After a while Calum grew bored of the film and began tickling you, you pushed him away and he grabbed your wrist “babe” he gasped. You yanked your arm away and he grabbed it back “you don’t…” You cut him off “no, but I used to. I don’t do it anymore I promise” you said. You’d stopped a couple months back but the scars were there, you couldn’t deny you hadn’t done it. But it had made you a stronger person “why didn’t you tell me?” He asked, his puppy dog brown eyes staring at you.
You sighed “I hate them, and I thought you’d think little of me” you blushed. Calum sighed “I could never think little of you, I’m glad you don’t do it anymore, actually I’m proud you found the courage to stop. I love you, and this just shows me how strong you are, I think your amazing” he said. He kissed your scars before kissing your lips.
