Chapter 48

My Repair

Hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin. Nanginginig ang buong katawan ko. Ang napakaraming luha sa aking mga mata ay kanina pa nagbabanta.

Para akong hihimatayin. Para akong sinasaksak sa sakit. The moment I know it all, and the moment I already lost hope of hoping that Reign won't leave me like that, I really felt like dying. I'm hurting so hard!

"I'm so sorry. We can't really tract Reign." maluha-luhang sabi sa akin ni Mamo habang nakasapo ang noo.

I tried hard to be strong. I tried hard to suppress my tears to fall down my cheeks. Pero, hindi ko maiwasang mapasinghot ng paulit-ulit sa sakit no'ng maalala kong ginawa ko na ang lahat para mahanap siya. But, I can't still fucking tract her.

"We already checked the CCTV footage of this building and we clearly saw that she goes out by 5:46 am. Tuluyan na siyang nakalabas ng condominium by 5:51 at pumara na ng taxi. Nakuha na rin natin ang plate number ng taxi na sinakyan niya at tinanong kung saan niya inihatid ang babaeng kamukha ni Reign. He told us that he send her in that specific coffee shop, but we gave up our tracking when we found no CCTV cameras in the whole perimeter of the coffee building. We tried to track the CCTV in the hallway for the possibility, but the CCTV is found only in between of the way, where we can no longer identify her because of many people passing, kung naglakad man siya o sumakay bago tuluyan nawala." Mamo tried to explain.

I felt my tears pooled in my eyes. Naramdaman ko ang dami niyon kaya hanggang maaari, pinipigilan kong bumuhos. I'm tried of hearing it. It's making my whole nerves shaking and aching!

I spent the whole day tracking her. And believe me, we also thought that she was abducted. I even asked help from the police station for finding her. But after realizing that she's really leaving me for real, feels like killing me.

"Son, maybe... maybe she is just in her important business. Don't lose hope, we can find her." pampalubag loob ni Mommy sa akin.

But no matter how she could convince me to not lost hope, I've already gave in. Noong nadatnan ko pa lang siyang wala na sala, nararamdaman ko na ang kakaibang takot sa akin. But, I still tried to track her because I'm still hoping.

But now that we can't really find her, I know she really left me. For real. Without kiss and goodbyes. Without one word. And that's when my hope of seeing her totally ended.

"If Reign's on her important business po Tita, sana man lang makontak natin ang number niya, diba po? And we also went to their house, hindi po ba? But, their neighbors said ilang araw ng wala ang pamilya niya roon. Hindi nila alam kung saan pumunta. We also visited her Mama's coffee shop pero ilang araw na rin daw sarado iyon." Yeshen said innocently and insensitively.

"Keep your mouth shut, Yesh." Mamo warned the latter regarding her insensitivity at bahagyang ininguso ako.

Dahan-dahang lumingon sa akin si Yeshen. Doon lang yata niya napagtanto ang ibig sabihin dahil bigla siyang nagtakip ng bibig. Umiling si Mamo at saka tiningnan ako nang may naninimbang na tingin.

Pumungay ang mga mata ko sa pagod, panghihina, sakit at sa nagbabanta kong luha. Nanlulumo akong sumandal sa sofa, tumingala at napapikit.

Now I regret why I didn't force her to tell me details about her family. Kung anuman ang mga bagay na hindi ko alam tungkol sa kanya, iyon ay ang estado ng relasyon niya sa pamilya. I only knew that she has her mother and older brother with her, but I didn't know how they interact each other.
