Sarah's POV

Why do I have to be late!!! Urrrghh!!! I am late today and I am pretty sure that I was going to get face the hell today. God!! Please, help this innocent girl today.

I parked my bike and pulled my hair into a bun while running inside the office building. I got scolded by Paris severely for conflicting with my boss. She told me to say sorry to my boss and work properly. So that there would be no problem. It's only 6 months then everything will be fine. I will be free. This is why I agreed to make an agreement with the Jerk. I mean with my boss.

I said 'good morning' to Jeremy the receptionist and ran inside the lift. I was waiting for it to reach my floor. I got out of the lift as soon as it stopped. I ran out of it and ran towards Just I mean my boss's cabin. I knocked on the door but it was opened. I was about to lose my balance but I somehow managed it.

But as soon as I stepped into the cabin I got a shock seeing Professor Eastward sitting there in front of my boss who was looking at me very shockingly and Professor was smiling at him in a mocking manner. I shouldn't be here this time. Stupid me!!! Did he called Professor to complain against me?! No, please no. I kept praying.

" I am sorry, I will come later." I said and was about to go out of the cabin but I heard my Professor calling my name.

" Abigail!!!" He said me. I turned.

" Yes, Professor?" I asked him.

" Come here." He called me and I crossed my heart inwardly. Help me God!!! Please help me. I kept praying.

" Yes, Professor." I said and walked towards him.

" Have a seat." He said. I nodded and had a seat beside him. " How are you doing your job? Do you like it here? Is everything ok?" He asked me.

" Yes, Professor. Everything is fine." I said to him.

" If you face any problem then tell me. I will surely help you." He said.

" Such as?" I asked him.

" Such as, I can exchange you with some other appreciate of some other group if you are not comfortable here." He said to me but smirking at my boss who was glaring at him. " It's easy. No worries."

" Really?!" I asked him and he nodded his head.

" But there is a 'but' included in this." He said and I nodded. " 60% of your remarks will taken away from your performance." He said like pouring a bucket full of Arctic cold water on me. I sighed.

" I don't want to change it. I will work here until the end of the internship." I said to him.

" Better then." He said.

" If you have any other problem then you can tell me I will try to handle it." He sad to me. I looked at my boss who was looking at Professor more like was glaring at him. I sighed What happened here?!!!

" No, Professor, everything is ok." I said to him.

" Then it's better for all of us." He said.

" I will leave then, Conan. I have some important things to do." He said to my boss.

Conan!!! Isn't his name Caleb?!! I got a bit confused.

" And Abigail..." Professor called me.

" Umm ...yes?" I said.

" Feel free to share any kind of problem that you face. I will try my best to help you even if your boss fails to help you I will definitely help you." He said to me.

" Sure." I said to him smilingly.

" Are you done, Jeffrey? Then leave." I heard my boss who was more like threatening our Professor to leave. What's with him?!

" We will talk later when you are free, ok?" Professor said.

" She is not free ever. Now leave." My crazy boss replied. What's wrong with this guy!!! Professor chuckled.

" I am going. I really have something important to do. See you later." He said and left the cabin at once.

I sighed looking at the way he just has left. Why suddenly he was here?!! I heard my boss clearing his throat. I turned to see him.

" Why are you late today?" He asked me. I sighed.

" I slept late last night." I said.

" Was that in the rules?" He asked me and I shook my head.

" Then what do you think I should do to you now?" He asked me.

" Punish me." I said looking down feeling ashamed for being late.

" Hmm.. how will I punish you today?! Do you have any idea?" He asked me.

" I don't have any idea." I said.

" Alright. Let it go. Yesterday's punishment was too much for you so I will let it go." He said and I looked at him weirdly.

" Really?" I asked him.

" Yeah. Really." He said while checking the papers in front of him.

I kept sitting in front of him. I don't know how to say sorry. I don't have any idea about it. I have never think that I will do this. But I have to do this.

" Why are you still sitting there?" He asked me narrowing his eyes. I sighed. " Do you want to say something?" He asked me. I nodded.

" What's that?" He asked me checking the papers again.

" I..umm ..I am ... I know I ..was wrong...but it doesn't mean that I was wrong all the time. They ignited me to do this. But I will not hold someone else responsible for that. I myself did that. I was wrong as well. And I..." I took a deep breath and calmed myself down. " I ... I am so.. sorry." I said and he looked at me weirdly.

" Sorry?!" He asked me.

" Yes." I nodded.

" Suddenly you realized that overnight?" He asked me narrowed his eyes.

" Umm... I..well, my friend madee realize that I can't act like this at office. I have to change my view." I said to him. He listened to me quietly didn't interfere. " But I can't work here like that." I said.

" What do you mean?" He asked me.

" I mean that I will work here following all the rules but I want to make an agreement with some points of mine stating there. It will definitely help us." I said to him. He kept looking at me for a while then nodded.

Woah!!! I didn't think it was too easy to make him agree to have an agreement. Better that he didn't mess up this time.
