Wrong Decision

Conan's POV

" We need to invite him." Mila said and I glared at her hard.

" No, I don't want to invite them in my wedding. I don't want his presence around me." I said.

" He is still our father, Conan. " She said.

" Yeah, father. The same one who never even tried to remember us. Never tried to know if we are alive or not. Did he call you all these five years I was in coma? Did he try to console you ever? Why are you trying to be so nice to him, Mila? Does he even deserve that? " I asked her.

" Calm down, Conan. That doesn't matter if he hasn't been good toward us but we don't have to do the same thing with him. If we also become heartless like him then what will be the difference between us?" She asked me.

" I don't know and I don't even want to know about that." I said stubbornly.

I knew she was right but I didn't want to accept that because I hated that man to the end. I didn't even want to see his face ever. Like ever. I hated him from the bottom of my heart. I even didn't want to breath in the same air that he would do. I didn't want to be in the same place as his. This is how much I hated him.

" Little cute Hunter grown up, cupcake. We shouldn't hold grudges against anyone." She said.

" I hold it against him. I hate him." I said.

" You little boy need to grown up now. You can't act like that all the time" she said to me.

" I don't want to grown up. I don't need to " I said to her.

" You need to trust me you have to. Because a few time later you will be father of a kid. You can't act like a kid then. You have to handle kids." She said and I rolled my eyes. " Aww are you blushing?!" She asked and I gave her a boring expression. " Why don't you blush, huh?! Try to blush. Do you have that one thing missing that causes blushing? You have lack of hormones, boy." She  said.

" And you have one hormones extra that is crazy one. You are crazy as hell. How can Adam handle you? Hasn't he gone mad already?" I asked her.

" Go ask him. No, you don't have to go. He will be here in awhile." She said.

" Honey!! You downstairs? " I heard Adam and sighed.

" Yes, whiny kid. I am downstairs." She said frustratedly." I am living with kids who doesn't want to grown up ever. Like how crazy is that?" She asked and I chuckled.

" Too crazy. You should know how to handle the situation." I said.

" I know how to handle you both. Now Sarah will be there in a few days then she can handle you and I can deal with my crazy clingy man properly. Otherwise you two never care about what I say to you. How crazy!!!" She said.

" What is happening here?" Adam asked.

" Good morning, big boy." She said ruffling his hair. He chuckled.

" Good morning, sweetheart." He said hugging her from back.

" You guys are in public." I said.

" You close your eyes. Don't disturb us." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" Duh!!! " I said. Mila glared at him. He glared at me and sat across me. " You spoiled the moment, little Hunter. Wait until you get married."

" What will you do then? " I asked him.

" I will make your love life hell as well." He said to me. I chuckled.

" I will not let you because I don't like to show PDA in public." I winked at him.

" Silence both of you. Have breakfast first." Mila said.

" So, what were you both Hunters discussing before I reach here? Were you discussing how to hunt the next prey? " He asked.

Stupid of the year.

" We were discussing about something stupid. Nothing important. I don't want you to bother yourself about it." I said.

" We were discussing about inviting Dad and his family in Conan's wedding ceremony but he wasn't agreeing with this idea. Tell him something. He will listen to you. " She said and Adam sighed.

" It's Conan's wedding and if he doesn't want anyone to be there then we just can't force her. But if you ask me then I will say yes, Mila is right. You should invite him. For 2 reasons. First, to do your duty and second to show him that his absence didn't effect much in your life. You guys didn't need a father to be what you are today. You have to do it for yourselves. It's your choice now. I don't want to say anything else about it. It's completely your decision now." He said to me.

" I still don't want him at my house. Both of you try to understand my points that I hate him to the end. I hope you guys will respect my decision." I said and came out if the house.

I called Sarah and asked her to meet me. I was totally messed and confused. Let's see if she can help me a bit. Though I knew she will be able to lighten up my mood anyways. No wonders she always be successful to do that from the start. She never ever failed to hypnotize me. I reached office and she was already in my cabin waiting for me. In fact she was sleeping on the couch hugging herself. Is she feeling cold?! I removed my jacket and carefully covered her with that but she opened her eyes at the same time.

" Oh, Caleb." She said in her sleepy voice and gave me a small peck on my lips. Like really?! But I let it go as she was sleepy. " You made me wait for you. Where were you?" She asked me.

" I was at home. I know that I am late but I have messed up." I said and she was fully awaken now.

" What happened?" She asked sitting straight. I sat next to her and explained everything to her.

" Mila and Adam are right, Caleb. You should invite your dad and his family. He should see how happy you are without him. You don't need him to be happy anymore." She said and I sighed as I nodded.

" And you know what you have to do now?" She asked me.

" What?!" I asked her.

" Go home and say sorry to Mila and Adam." She said. I looked at her. She smiled nodding. I just pulled her closer hugging her tightly. I didn't took a wrong decision. Not at all.
