Stupidity Of The Year

Sarah's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and kept looking at the ceiling. I was thinking what happened and how can I make things right. I know Caleb is very upset with me. I was in fault. I know I admit it and his anger was valid. But the way he left without letting me explain was hurting me. What can I do now?! I have to do something to make things right between us. I need to do it. If not then it will become worse. I can't let that happen. I will do anything to make things right. And I promise I will do that soon. That's Sarah's promise.

I checked my phone and it was 4 in the morning. I turned and found the bed empty. That means he hadn't come back last night?! Where is he? I called him and the phone was vibrating next to me. I sighed. He left phone here?! Now how will I know where he is?! I sat down on the bed and I sighed deeply as I found Caleb sleeping uncomfortably on the couch. It would obviously uncomfortable for a big guy like him. His height didn't match with that poor couch. I got up and took a pillow and the duvet. I reached him and adjusted the pillow beneath his head. Then covered him with the duvet. I kept looking at the sleeping face of my angry bird. I don't know why looking at him give me peace of mind and makes me happy automatically. For me he is the purest soul ever. The guy who can cry like a little kid for me I know how deeply he loves me. I love him too. I know I was in fault. I will make things right. I will not let it be a reason of our sadness. I pecked on his lips softly then played with the hair on his forehead that was totally messed up. I don't know when I slept. I wake up when it was almost 7. I found myself on the floor and my head was resting on his chest. That means he hasn't wake up yet. Alright. I kissed on his forehead and stood up carefully.

I picked up my phone and sighed deeply checking the pictures that we have taken yesterday. Just yesterday. How happy we were ad now see?! I have spoiled everything. He was angry. I should haven't done it. But I wanted to help to find out the guy who left the beanie here.

I picked up the beanie. Very normal one. Brown colored no difference between the others. I threw it on the couch of balcony where it was laying before. I took my phone and called Nikki. Let's she what she can do for me.

" Hello!!" She picked up after 3 rings.

" Hello, Nikki." I said.

" Hey, what's up?" She asked in a cheery tone.

" I am fine. What about you?" I asked her.

" I am super duper fine." She said.

" What happened that made you so happy?" I asked her.

" Because, you are happy and I am feeling so good after so many days. You know I was cycling that day but people started to recognize me. So, I started were a scarf to hide my face. It's very interesting living a normal life as a commoner. Now I know what I have missed all these years. I was even thinking about leaving singing forever and open a farm in the countryside. I can live a peaceful life there with the nature. No hue and cries, no pain, no wound, no selfishness. Nature only knows to give never asks for anything else. What do you think about it?" She asked. Nikki will leave her career?!! No. Not at all.

" You can make a farmhouse in countryside. Whenever you are bored you can go and enjoy yourself there. But don't give up on you career. We still expecting a lot from you, Nikki." I said and she stayed silent for a while. Then sighed deeply.

" Alright. If you say so." She said.

" Yes, I say so." I said and she chuckled." By the way, what about your 'around the world in as long as it take' going on?" I asked her.

" I will leave once you guys come back in a month. Everything is ready. I will start from Canada. Our neighbor anyways." She said.

" Yeah, that's great. Buy me gifts from every country you visit." I said.

" Sure. You don't have ask for it." I said. " Where is Conan? Why are you up this early in the morning? You should be next to him until he wakes up." She said and I sighed. " What's wrong, Little one? Everything ok?" She asked me. I told her everything. I knew she is mentally strong and she won't be tensed.

" Look, Sarah, the relationship between a married couple is awkwardly mysterious. It's stronger than others. You're emotionally attached with him. He has been through a lot, Sarah. So, getting scared of loosing you and being angry for that is very very normal. Or you can say he was right in his place. I agree that he didn't listen to you but for once imagine yourself in this place? Can you tolerate that?" She asked me.

" No." I said wiping my tears.

" Don't cry, love. It's in your hand. Don't hurt that person. He is already very weak inside. He keeps showing he is very strong. But that day when you were missing trust me every single person could say that your name was written on every single breath of his. You are everywhere in him." She said. I was already feeling guilty. Now she is also saying that?!! " Sarah, say sorry and make everything better. Ok, Sweetheart?" She said and I nodded.

" Ok." I said. We talked for awhile and I hung up. I came back and found Caleb still sleeping. I didn't disturb him.

I put my hair into a bun. I got freshen up then walked towards the kitchen. I was singing and dancing. I was making the breakfast for us. Suddenly I saw Caleb on the staircase. I was trying to say something but he left at once.

I sighed. This is called the stupidity which I have done already. What can I do now!!! It happened already. Stupidity of the year.
