Note: it should just be said now that I will never write something while I am not tired. I am in a constant exhaustion.
I don't know if this makes sense. Hope it does.
Title isn't really relevant but who cares
PS. The ending kinda sucks - sorry

Harry's PoV

Bastard.
My ink blotted as another harsh kick was administered to my shin. The blond git smirked at me and the mess on my page. I glared at him before kicking back, trying to look as undisturbed as possible.

I heard him scoff in offence before turning back to his page. Peace was unperturbed until a sharp elbow dug into my arm, dragging the arch of my 'R' across the parchment.

"Hey!" I exclaimed, just loud enough to break the heavy silence of the classroom.

Shit.
"Mr. Potter, minus 5 points for disturbing lesson," Snape droned.

I heard a snicker from beside me - earning Malfoy another kick. I felt his foot skim my leg before a small voice cried out.

Sstay sstill..

My eyes widened in shock as I looked around the classroom. Although, not entirely sure what I was looking for.
Nobody else had turned a head at the voice. This was strangely nostalgic.

"Potter, procrastination won't raise your grades," Snape scolded, narrowing his eyes at me. I grumbled something unholy before trying to focus back on my essay.

Warm...quiet....I ssleep.

My eyes widened again as I fought the urge to look up again - likely to Snape's disapproval. Last time this happened - things didn't end well.

Ssilent..

Wait..that's coming from..

"Did you say something?" I whispered to the boy beside me.

"Please stop talking," he replied, dipping his quill into an ink well.

"Can you not hear that, then?" I whispered back, to his annoyance.

"I knew you were crazy. Hear wh-" he stopped as his eyes shot wide.

Ssleep soon...we go home

"So you can hear it,"

"N-no, it's..." He trailed off. Adjusting the long hood of his robes over his shoulder.

Huh..

"Sir, is there another pipe leaking? I can hear something hissing," a Ravenclaw behind us spoke.

I cast a suspicious glance to Malfoy's hood before I caught his (slightly) panicked eyes. He shook his head lightly, either pleading or warning me.

The professor brushed of the girl's remark, instead signalling the end of lesson. Papers disappeared from desks and students rushing to pack up and escape Snape's villainous presence.

I, however, slowed outside of the class and, instead of making the most of a free period, made after the blond that had unofficially decided to catch my intrigue.

I waited a second before following him into the bathroom.

"Familiars in class are against regulation, Malfoy. Especially snakes. With you as the exception - of course." I started, leaning against the sink counter.
