21:Returning To The Tower of heaven

The smell of seawater wasn't an unpleasant smell, almost nostalgic, resurrecting memories of her younger years, watching Gray and Natsu arguing who will be a better challenge for Poseidon. Their argument mostly consists of insulting the god and eventually getting devoured by mighty waves. She remembered how their screams were also swallowed by the waves, as if the God actually heard the shit they were saying behind his back.

Those were good times. They still have trouble getting into the water without being a little wary at first. But they seem to quickly overgrown that fear at the moment. They were running and kicking up water, even trying to drown one another. Their way of playing seems a bit barbaric to the other people on the beach, and even Lucy, but it was normal for the other teammates.

"You're not gonna get in?" Erza, like the rest of her teammates, dressed for the beach, a simple black two-piece bikini, clutching a beach ball to her side. Her brows were furrowed at the dragon slayer, and her hair is tied up in a ponytail.

Y/n shook her head, tearing her gaze away from her exceeds- who at the time tried to re-create Ariel's rock pose. They were quickly swept away by the waves. She hasn't seen them since, but she's sure they're fine.

"No, I don't think I will,"

Erza sighed at the woman, taking a seat next to her.

"We are allowed to relax at a 5-star resort. Live a little." She said as Natsu threw up in the ocean after being dragged on a board tied to a boat going at full speed.

Y/n cringed at the sight and swiftly turn away once more,  "No,"

The redhead shook her head and roughly threw the beach all at an unsuspecting Gray. The ball of doom stuck his face and sent him tumbling backward into the waves.

"Very well then. I heard there's a Casino, maybe you can loosen up there?" Y/n shrugged.

"I guess I don't mind playing for hours and becoming bored in an hour." Erza smiled at the blunt girl, patting her roughly on the shoulder with a smile,  "There you go!"

She raised her hand and caught a beach ball, squeezing it and popping the air out of it. A challenging smile crossed her face as she stood up, summoning another beach ball as her predatory gaze stuck onto Gray.

Gray held a smile but trembled slightly at the murderous look in her eyes.

Before he knew it, Erza charged full speed, taking a large leap over the shore, did a small spin, rearing her arm back, and threw the ball at his face, knocking him back down at the waves.

Y/n chuckled as the two began to brawl in the waves, immediately getting Natsu's attention as well, and dragged a rather unhappy Lucy with him.

She sighed and laid back into her beach chair, the nostalgia fading into something else. A pit in her stomach was what it was at first, then it warmed and fluttered.

She cringed at the feeling, leaning forward, looking around the beach for any familiar faces. Not one.

Maybe the beach was reminding her too much of her childhood? Possibly seems the only logical explanation at the time.

She leaned back, the fluttering in her stomach wouldn't seize. Her face warmed slightly and she reached to her side to pick up a glass cup. She splashed the water on her face.

The fluttering finally stopped, and her face felt cool once more.

She took one more glance around. Still nothing. It couldn't be her imagination. It just couldn't.

The casino was large than she'd expected. Coated in burgundy with golden trimming and borders. Chandeliers bigger than her body, and people dressed fancily for the mood.
