She flipped through a thick book as quickly as she can. Her eyes scanned every page with efficiency and were searching for a few words that may help. Her eyes fell on one page near the center of the book, and her eyes narrowed. It's not the page she was looking for, but it did catch her interest. It was a little strange how it did, besides, she wrote this book the moment she came to the guild.

It wasn't a book meant to be sold, it was just a book based on her progress. It started from day one of her training. It has tips and workout routines she must take every day to keep herself toned. There were messy calculations for when she was trying to create a spell for future use. There's even a stain of sauce when she was eating spaghetti. She wrote everything down. The rest of the book was the spells in her draft or already accomplished spells. She smiled at the memory of successfully casting the Dericho spell she's been working on. It took a year of countless practice and editing of the spell to get it right. And it took a lot of emotions if she was being honest. She remembers how Zen was unharmed during and after the spell, while the other subjects were destroyed.

She flipped to the rest of the book. There were drawings of different shapes of a roar. There was a laser beam, there was a wave and a bullet. Underneath the drawings were its purpose for conducting the different kinds of roars and the backlash. On another page, it was the progress of Natsu. There was a photograph taped to the page. It was of him successfully channeling flames to his arms. He was smiling widely in the picture, and she remembers when Natsu flapped his wings in an attempt to fly.

He nearly started a forest fire.

She shut the book once she went through every spell she has written down. None of which is capable of destroying a wind barrier. In fact, none of the spells were used to break down a spell, it was just used to win in a fight, or destroy stuff.

"How's it going over there, Erza?!" She called, glancing over her shoulder. Erza grunted, stepping on the head of one of the dark guild members she captured. She clicked her tongue in frustration, looking back at the dragon with venom in her eyes.

"They refuse to answer,"

One of the men from the bunch choked. He looked up at the woman with a beaten and bruised face.

"Listen, lady, it's better that you stop now. You and your buddies are stuck here," He said.

Erza slapped him.

"Y/n, Erza!" The dragon looked over at the voice, seeing her ice friend running to them at full speed. Things seem to have gone well for him. Erza looked over at him, narrowing her eyes when she caught no sight of the fire-breather. She assumed that maybe Gray got tired of him, and possibly vaporized his existence. It nearly happened multiple times while growing up, Erza was sure by now that Gray secretly has a second power.

"I thought you were with Natsu," She asked suspiciously. Gray came to a stop before them, panting slightly. He bent down a little, placing his hands on his knees as he tries to catch his breath.

"We decided to split up- but that doesn't matter right now," He replied hurriedly. He wiped his lips, taking heavy breaths to ease his rapidly beating heart.

"Listen, I just found out that Eisenwald's target is Clover, the next town up,"

It clicked for the two maidens at that point. Y/n felt her heart drop into her stomach, and her mind went beyond to formulate plans and words of doubt in her mind. She felt her throat ran dry, and she pushed herself up to her feet. She glanced over at Erza's stiff posture, hoping that maybe she remembers the location wrong.

"Isn't that where the Master's conference is held?" She asked.

"Yeah, they're planning to use Lullaby to kill the Guild Masters,"
