14: Final Showdown

Gray had finished his explanation of his backstory, one that both saddened and made Y/n think of Ur with more respect.

But that's not the issue at the moment.

"The temple is crooked, should we snap it back or what?" E/n asked, landing on Y/n's shoulder.

"Well, now it's not directly beneath the rays of the moon. I assume this is Natsu's work." Y/n said.

"Damn. Natsu is doing much more work than we are." E/n said.

Y/n was about to agree when she suddenly leaped and pushed Gray out of the way, Erza doing the same to Lucy and Happy.

Sharp shurikens pierced right through the area they stood on and struck the trees. Y/n glared further ahead as cloaked figures approached from the trees, wearing masks.

"Looks like we got a new set of problems." E/n said, straightening her fur.

"We've tracked you down, Fairy Tail!" To who they assume to be the leader of the group exclaimed.

E/n suddenly choked and burster out laughing, confusing everyone else. She calmed herself, and out of breath, she said  "Li-Listen to his voice! He sounds like a 12 year old-"  She turned to another fit of laughter, her paw on Happy's shoulder - while he laughed too in realization.

"Their outfits are ridiculous! Looks like me when I get out of bed at 3 am! Y'all on a budget or what?" Hikari was about to throw another one when something caught the hem of her dress and sent her to the tree.

She blinked then looked at the weapon pinning her to the tree,  "Well.......boutta throw some paws, y'all better skrrt out of here before-"

Y/n silenced the crackhead exceed by taping her mouth, extending her hand where a fuzzy orb lay.

"Gray, ignore E/n and go. Erza and I will take care of this." She said, to the slightly brain dead stripper who's just staring at the taped exceed.

He turned to them with a now serious look, ignoring the muffle cheers and yells of the yellow exceed.

"You sure?" He asked, getting ready to cast a spell.

"Just go, settle things with Lyon." Erza said, pulling out her sword. Gray stood still, eyes glistening before he nodded.

Lucy smirked and pulled out her whip,  "We'll fight with them!" She stated confidently.

"Aye!" Happy cheered, holding up the mere spine of a fish. E/n did a small cheer from where she's hanged.

Gray smiled to himself before running off.

Another blazing ray of fire shot through another boulder of ice, shattering it to crystals.

Panting, the two stare at eachother, holding their ground and magic powering through their veins. They launched at eachother once again, both forming magic circles which soon collided and erupted, blasting them back.

But neither of them are staying down. Natsu sent a wing attack, to which Lyon created an ice tiger, both blocking te attack and destroying his own creation.

In the midst, Natsu kicked Lyon from behind and sent another bullet of fire, to which Lyon managed to turn foward and throw icicles his way.

Natsu leaped and used his fire to dodge the many icicles sent afterwards, pushing himself upwards or downwards, while Lyon throw many attacks.

With a wave of fire, Natsu canceled out a spell and went back a good distance.

Lyon set his arms down, glare cold and hard on the fire mage.
