33: Cherry Blossom Season

**3rd pov**

"Heed my dear friends, if you fancy yourself a member of this guild, you must sharpen your skills day and night. Do so and fortune will always be yours." Master said as he stood on the counter with his arms cross and every member of the guild surrounding the counter.

"Never forget you are responsible for your own keep." He added. At that, Hikari and Silver faced the Salmon hair boy with a look. He looked away and rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"While many of your days will be sunny, others will be clouded in hardship. Piece and prosperity tampered by tragedy and heartbreak." He said. Silver nodded at that one.

"However, I have fate that we can fight the darkest of days because you are surrounded, not by co-workers, but enduring and loving family!" He said and raised his finger up.

"Together, we are one! That's what being a Fairy Tail wizard all about!" He yelled. Every one cheered and copied his actions.

"I couldn't be proud of what you kids have accomplished in the last year." He said with a grin.

"Yup, we accomplished soo much! Just last week, Natsu destroyed another town!" Hikari said and the guild laughed at the Pinkette recklessness.

"Well, to commemorate everyones' hardship and not recklessness, we will be holding, the highly anticipated the flower viewing party!" He announced and hopped on the counter.

Everyone cheered loudly but Hikari was the loudest.

"Um...what's that?" Silver asked the yellow cat.

"Oh! It's a festival for the Cherry Blossom trees! We play bingo, sing, watch the rainbow blossom tree! Sometimes Y/n will perform!" The yellow exceed exclaimed and her eyes lit up in excitement.

The Silver exceed nodded and took a sip of his tea.

Meanwhile, at the back of the guild, a certain iron head is chomping down on iron while watching the wild members cheer and drink. His body leaning on the railing and his eyes fixated on them.

"What a bunch of morons." He said to himself.

"Well we're all family right? So I guess you're one too." A certain h/c hair girl chuckled, taking a spot next to him.

Her hair is let loose, her eyes shined, despite being in the shadows of the guild. Her large black cloak covers majority of her body, hiding every inch of skin. The hood rests beneath her hair and a heart warming smile that's strong enough to melt his cold shell have been placed on her lips.

Everything seems normal. Except. The headphones. They smell like someone familiar, he couldn't put his finger on it but he couldn't help but to growl lightly, confusing the mage that stood next to him. She rose an eyebrow at him, wondering if what she said offended him in any way.

"I ain't no moron, of anything, I'm the only sane one here." He complained as kindly as he can. Trying to not make him sound like he doesn't want to see her.

In fact. He actually really wants to see her. He barely gets to have 10 minutes with her without someone, well Pyro and Salamander, interrupting.

"Says the guy who is in the shadows and eating kitchen utensils." She said and rested her head in the palm of her hand.

"Screw you." He replied, looking away from her in slight embarrassment.

"Aww~! I didn't know you wanted me that bad~" She cooed, with a smug, yet playful look.

He literally choked on the iron and his face was bright red. 'Thoughts' filled his mind and he got rid of them by eating some more iron. He just realized the intoxicating scent Y/n carries around. Y/n snickered at his reaction before clearing her throat to keep the act up.
