15: Destroy The Moon

The demon's roar was loud and it could be heard anywhere on the island.

Y/n cower from her spot and covered her ears, trying to null out the sound as best as she could.

"Is that Delihora?" Lucy asked with a fear struck look.

"Must be. They did it." E/n stated with an amazed look, her head still aching from the recent blow she received earlier.

"Look! That's the moon drip!" Happy exclaim, pointing to a ray of pink light shining through the temple. Y/n weakly look up from her spot,  "Then someone is still performing the ceremony. The rest of the demon's body might still be incase in ice." She stated.

"Then we still have a chance!" Erza exclaimed hopefully, already taking off. Lucy and Happy quickly followed, leaving the girl and her cat behind.

Y/n grunted as the roar quickly died down and stood up properly, hands still covering her ears.

"But for all we know, the demon might be strong enough already to break its own ice." Y/n stated, E/n nodding.

"So we gotta go down there, right?" She asked.

"Looks like." Y/n replied.

"But there's something about this spell that seems a little suspicious."

Gray stare absentmindly at the demon that have destroyed his home - the demon that is no longer imprisoned in ice.

"I'll clean the mess you made." He spoke, walking past his former fallen friend, Lyon.

He stepped into the water and got into a familiar stance,  "I'll seal the demon!" Lyon wasn't exactly fond of it, but he's too weak to stand.

"You idiot! Don't you know how long it took me to melt that ice, just for you to seal it again?!" He yelled, wanting to oh so badly kick him.

"I can't worry about the future, but I gotta do this before it kills us all!" Gray yelled, not being able to hear the distance yell from his friend.

Quickly, Natsu stepped in front of Gray, forcing the ice male to slow down the spell.

"Natsu!" He yelled.

"Why don't you just let me handle it." Natsu stated, standing proud.

"Don't be stu-" a shoe suddenly collided with his head, sending him down into the water. Y/n panted softly and went into the water, picking up the ice male.

"Go ahead Natsu. This'll be easy." She stated, walking out of the pool of water.

Delihora let out a deafening roar, pulling back it's fist and sending it down to Natsu, eyes dead and looking a little rusty.

Natsu ignited his fists and did the same, the fire and the demon's fists colliding. The demon was strong, but Natsu was stronger.

Cracks erupted from it's arm, going up it and to it's body.

Lyon stare in shock as the body of Delihora began to shatter and fall apart.

Natsu, was too - amazed at his work, stating at his open palm.  "Wow, I must be stronger than I thought." He muttered.

"No exactly." He turned to the voice of his comerade, seeing her walk next to him.

"When Ur casted the spell, the impact of it have already killed it, but saved it's last breath. It was dead before the ice have melted." She explained, sometimes pulling Natsu out of the way from being crushed by falling rocks.

"So if you think about it, Master Ur slayed a demon."

E/n sighed in relief and looked over at the white haired male who's still laying on the mossy ground.
