"I would've just walked right in like I pay the rent here, but your door was locked," Jin explained. Hee-yong crossed her arms over her chest with narrowed eyes.
"Did you need something?" She asked. Jin smirked.
"Yes, we need you. But not in that outfit," he said sassily. Hee-yong looked down at her clothes and scowled. She was wearing a very oversized white t-shirt that used to belong to Jimin, and a pair of basketball shorts. She flicked her brother's nose and turned around.
"I didn't expect company today," she said as she escaped to her room to change. She quickly tugged on some blue skinny jeans, a white tank top and a blue flannel. Hee-yong brushed through her hair until there were no knots and used a face wipe to gently clean any sign of tears off her face leftover from her crying session. She patted her cheeks as she looked at herself in the mirror.
"Don't freak out," she muttered to herself. And then she left the safety of her room and met the boys who waited on her couch.
"Let's go, boys," she called as she pulled her shoes on by the door.
"Well, don't you look cute. Doesn't she look cute, guys?" Jin asked. Hee-yong glared at her brother, wondering what he was up to. Jimin and Namjoon both smiled in agreement, and Hee-yong's heart stuttered.
"Uhh, Jimin, Namjoon, can you two wait for us outside please?" Hee-yong asked as she glared intensely at Jin, whose dopey smile never fell. They nodded and made their way back outside after replacing their shoes on their feet.
"Kim Seokjin, what the hell are you doing?" Hee-yong hissed quietly. Jin smiled and ruffled his sister's hair.
"Well, you see.. You and Jimin need to learn how to be around each other again, he's my best friend and you're my sister, and Namjoon is just fun to have around, so we're all hanging out!" Hee-yong nodded. She couldn't deny that her brother was right, she did need to learn how to be around Jimin again, but this was definitely not the way she planned to do it.
Outside the apartment, Jimin and Namjoon leaned casually against the building.
"So, you're Hee-yong's ex?" Namjoon asked. Jin had filled him on as they went to pick Jimin up, but he hadn't gotten a chance to talk to the boy much.
"I am," Jimin confirmed and tilted his head at Namjoon.
"How did you know?" He asked. Namjoon smiled politely and replied,
"Jin told me." Jimin chuckled and muttered, "of course he did." Namjoon fidgeted for a moment as he thought. Hee-yong was a beautiful girl, and she made his heart feel weird, but this whole plan that Jin had hatched was pretty.. complicated. Namjoon is there because he has feelings for Hee-yong, his job is to flirt with her, and Jimin is there because Jin needs to see if Namjoon flirting with Hee-yong will make Jimin mad so Jin can find out if Jimin still has feelings for Hee-yong so they can sort out that whole mess. (Did you catch all that? Even I barely did!)
"Why'd you break up with her?" Namjoon asked suddenly. Jimin coughed uncomfortably and cocked his head.
"Well," he began. Jimin's mind began to wander back to the days he and Hee-yong were together. They'd fall asleep together, wake up together, they were just inseparable and it didn't bother Jimin at all. Until he met Sidney. Sidney put a bunch of ideas and thoughts into Jimin's head, always confusing him but he couldn't seem to find the strength to get her out of his life. Even so, Hee-yong had been in his life since they were babies. They'd been romantic for five years, and had gone all the way for the first time ever together. Hee-yong was a solid rock in Jimin's life, someone he knew he could count on. But the mystery and danger of someone new thrilled him. So he stopped visiting Hee-yong as much, and started visiting Sidney. It started with Jimin and Sidney just hanging out as friends, but over time, it became more. The first night Jimin cheated on Hee-yong, he cried. He ran out of Sidney's apartment and sobbed as he walked to the Kim family's home. Hee-yong's bedroom light was on, and she was sitting in the windowsill, watching the night sky. Her long hair was lying on her shoulders in waves, her face completely free of makeup. That was one thing Jimin had always admired about Hee-yong, not only did she not care what others thought about her appearance, but she was also just naturally beautiful. Jimin guessed it was a part of the Kim genes. That night, Jimin hid in a bush and watched as Hee-yong sat completely still, observing the night sky of Seoul. Tears flowed freely down Jimin's face as he thought about the prospect of losing Hee-yong. His lover, his best friend, his anchor. He watched as Hee-yong pulled out her phone and began typing something. She sat it on her thigh and returned her attention to the window. Jimin felt his phone buzz in his pocket and he pulled it out. It was a text from none other than his loving girlfriend.
Yongie💜:
Come inside. You must be cold. Tell me what's wrong.
Jimin shuddered, realizing he'd been caught. He should've known Hee-yong would be able to see him, the bush wasn't particularly thick, at least not thick enough to cover the boy. He sighed, stood up and went on his way to tell his girlfriend the painful truth. Surprisingly, Hee-yong took the information well. She didn't scream, or lash out. She just calmly nodded and turned away from Jimin. She didn't leave Jimin, even knowing that he had been unfaithful. She loved him far too much, and that hurt Jimin even more.
Jimin shook his head and looked at Namjoon.
"I.. was dumb, and after almost six years of being together I realized she deserved better. She deserved someone who didn't treat her the way I did," Jimin said. Pain squeezed his chest and he sighed heavily. Namjoon observed the shorter boy with intent eyes.
"Do you still love her?" He asked. Before Jimin could answer, the front door to Hee-yong's apartment opened, revealing a frustrated Hee-yong and a giddy Seokjin.
"You guys ready?" The latter asked as he strode ahead of his sister. Hee-yong mumbled something under her breath and Jin, being the only one to understand it, turned around and glared.
"I do not have any pimples on my face, you brat!" Jin exclaimed. Despite his statement, his hands reached up to his face, worriedly feeling for any imperfections. His reaction brought a bright smile to Hee-yong's face.
"Well come on then, boys," she said and walked ahead of everyone else. The three boys followed behind the girl, until she stopped abruptly. Jin, Namjoon and Jimin all stopped to avoid colliding with Hee-yong's back.
"Wait!" She said. She turned to face her male companions with an amused grin on her face.
"You never told me where we were going," she pointed out, and Namjoon rolled his eyes as Jin face-palmed..

About an hour later, Hee-yong held a gun to Jimin's chest. The boy trembled in fear beneath the barrel, as he looked into Hee-yong's eyes.
"Yongie," he began, wetting his lips with his tongue nervously.
"Please don't do this," Jimin pleaded. Hee-yong glared at her ex boyfriend and said, "Give me one good reason I shouldn't end you right here." Jimin's eyes widened even more, and he began to panic.
"B-because you love me, Yongie. You wouldn't end me," he said, his voice wavering as he prayed that he was correct. Hee-yong smirked ruthlessly.
"You're wrong," she said and without wasting another second, she pulled the trigger.
"Fuck!" Jimin yelled as his suit lit up a bright blue.
"Dammit, Hee-yong, we could've teamed up on Jin but noooo, you had to come get me," he said rolling his eyes. Hee-yong laughed at Jimin's pouty face, and simply pushed his chest.
"Shut up, pabo, it's just laser tag," she teased. Jimin grumbled and gently pushed her back.
"I hate you," Jimin said. Hee-yong snickered and patted Jimin's cheek as she said, "I love you too."
Hee-yong moved to walk away but suddenly, Jimin yelled her name and tackled her to the ground.
"Jimin, what the f-" she began but Jimin slapped his small hand over Hee-yong's mouth and dragged her behind a wall.
"Namjoon is coming," he whispered, and sure enough Namjoon suddenly appeared next to them. He looked around for them, but luckily the shadows hid the duo in the corner. Namjoon moved on quickly, but Jimin and Hee-yong didn't move a muscle. Jimin took a moment to process the position they were in. His back was pressed against the wall, and Hee-yong rested between his legs, her back flush against his chest as his hand covered her mouth gently. Heat bloomed in Jimin's cheeks as he removed his hand.
"U-uh, sorry," he stuttered but then Namjoon peeked back around the corner and yelled, "Aha!"
Hee-yong's vest lit up bright red and she groaned.
"Dammit, Jimin," she cursed. Namjoon had already ran back off to find Jin, so Jimin took his chance and leaned in even closer to Hee-yong, his lips gently brushing the skin right underneath her ear.
"Shut up, pabo, it's just laser tag," he mocked her.A/N: hello! Did any of you start freaking out when Hee-yong "put the gun to Jimin's chest" LOL.
