It was just so random. May had cuddled with Mettaton and took a little nap in his embrace, but when she woke up, she just walked away with a "hmph" not even looking him in the eye. Mettaton followed her into the kitchen and saw her angrily staring at a chair. May sometimes found herself mad for no reason, whenever that happened, it was the chairs that suffered. "I wanna beat the f**k out of that chair, but last time I did that, well," that was an embarrassing day for her. "Let's just say the chair won," she admitted. Cleo cleared her throat. May sighed and handed her a dollar. As Cleo left, May turned back to the chair. "Yep, definitely gonna be broke by Friday," Mettaton snickered at her exaggeration. "Anyway, what gives? You cuddle with me and take a nap, then you wake up and you're mad at me. What did I do?" May redirected her angry stare to Mettaton. "There was a fire at the hotel and you just left me in there to die," "What? I would never-" "Yeah, I never thought you would either," May walked back into to the living room and flopped on the couch. Soon after, Mettaton joined her and pulled her into a hug. "May, just because I did something in your dream, doesn't mean I'd do it in real life," May let her head fall onto his shoulder. "Sure seemed pretty real," she lifted her head back up. "I'm sorry, this has to be your worst birthday ever," Mettaton lay down taking May with him. "Are you kidding?! You getting let back into the squad, seeing you having a good time with all the others, getting to hold a sleeping May in my arms? Sounds like a perfect day to me!" May sat up. "Happy birthday sexy," she kissed him on the cheek.
