The second the door was shut, May stood up on the couch. "Alexa, play May's mix," No one else was home, so no one would know she was doing the things her punishment didn't allow.

7:02 AM

After a bit of dancing, May decided to play a few video games. "One more match of Splatoon 2, then I'll do something else," she thought.

7:06 AM

Finding discarded paper and a pencil was extremely easy. May had divided it into two piles. One for a few sketches, the other for making tables. Once she hit a roadblock for sketching, she switched to making tables and vice versa. One of the tables she made was what she could and couldn't do while she was grounded. "Wait no, people consider cooking art so that goes in can't do, seems more like a mad science to me, but I see the art in it, definitely my least favorite art form though," May knew the list for "can't do" would be so long, all the things on it were in tiny handwriting she could barely read. It had pretty much taken up the whole column and she was just getting started! However, the "can do" column had more things than she thought she would come up with. "So I can still read a book, play cards, take a bath, play dress up, um..." she was hitting another block, which her attention was drawn away from when she heard her stomach growl. "Impossible, I just ate!" she thought. Another thing she had taken advantage of when everyone left for work or school, was a chance to make herself coffee. Along with it, was a breakfast much much smaller than usual. May tucked herself into the couch and decided to grab a bag of chips and maybe watch just a little bit of a movie. That couldn't hurt, right?

3:18 PM

"MAY!" she bolted upright, sending the empty bag of chips that was laying on her chest forgotten to the floor. The movie's credits were playing on the t.v. May would have been embarrassed that she was caught not only watching a movie, but eating. But Mettaton had woken her up from the worst nightmare she's ever had. Before she could stop herself, May burst into tears. "Woah! May, I'm mad but not that mad! Stop, please, I'm sorry I yelled!" May could barely talk through the sobs. "Its not that...I had a horrible nightmare! When I went back to school, I failed everything, got kicked off the softball team, and my life was over!" Mettaton joined May on the couch, holding her in his arms. He pet her head and wiped away her tears.

5:21 PM

Mettaton had been nice enough to let May watch one movie, which then turned into two. They were cuddling on the couch. May felt her stomach let out a small gurgle and looked around for something to gnaw on. Mettaton felt something pinch his hand. "Ow, hey, don't bite me," May gave him a sad look as her stomach rumbled. "Aw May, are you hungry darling?" She nodded, looking ashamed. "It's okay, Papyrus is making dinner, and it's a dish you all like," He held her in his arms, pulling her close. "I love you May," he thought about all the times he saw her sleeping, all the times he dropped her off at school, all the times she snuggled with him. Memories.

5:47 PM

"Please say dinner's almost ready. May's laying on the couch and she's getting really hungry!" Mettaton looked at the little angel, then heard the oven timer go off. "Oh, thank God," He thought as he walked over to the couch, paused the movie, and brought May into the kitchen. "Ooh, haven't seen this in a while," She thought as she dished up some crack casserole (chicken, tater tots, cheddar and bacon bits,) yum! "Oh, can't forget," she thought as she pulled out a ketchup bottle from the fridge. She then brought the plate into the living room and resumed the movie. Num, num! Nom! May gently pushed the empty plate towards Mettaton with the back of her hand. "More?" May nodded. Mettaton walked off and came back with seconds. He then watched May eat in the most adorable way only she could. She snuggled up close to him when he joined her on the couch. "Who's a good girl? Who's a good puppy?" He asked in a baby talk voice as he tickled May. As she giggled, May managed to say "hey, you said you've been working out recently, take off the shirt! I wanna see 'dem abs!" Now Mettaton was laughing. "Of all things, I would've never expected you to say that!" After catching his breath, he looked May right in the eye. "I'll make a deal with you, I'll take off my shirt and show you my abs if, I get to see you in that swimsuit again," "Deal!" May shook his hand.
