May walked downstairs and began browsing the movies for something to watch. "The Meg, here it is," she fed the disc to the Blu-ray player and grabbed an apple from the kitchen. "May?" She saw Mettaton walking downstairs. He took the apple and returned it to the fridge before shutting off the TV and beginning to escort May back upstairs. "It's 3 in the morning, why are you up?" "Early bird," Why did May even bother trying to lie to him anymore? She waited for them to be at least one Mettaton away from the stairs before hugging him. "I had a nightmare," Mettaton returned the hug and carried the tired May back to bed. He was sure she was asleep, but when he stepped out of her room, he felt May's arms wrap around him from behind. He turned around and returned her to bed. She could barely keep her eyes open. In a flash, she snapped awake and hid under the blankets. Mettaton followed her under the covers and pet her head. May snuggled up close to him, whimpering. "Shhhhh, it's okay," She huddled up closer. "Shhhhhh, Metta's here," They cuddled for a while. May had fallen asleep, but Mettaton stayed with her in case of another bad dream.
