"NAVIO IS DISQUALIFIED FOR THE MEN'S 100 METRE DASH!"
"Well, at least it's greater chance for us Crucifijo," says Ann.
"It's also a greater chance for Cangrejo to win!" retorts Sandee.
The whistle blows. Though Frank (Campana) started off in the lead, Jameson (Cangrejo) overtakes in the second half.
"What did I tell you?"
"Well, this time Navio actually has a runner," Ann notes (I suppose you could say she made an Ann-notation.)
"But he's disqualified now," Sandee responds.
"How do you do the Campana cheer?" Orelya asks, looking at Ysobel, Kaitlyn, and Kat in the Campana crowd.
"C-A! C-A-M! C-A-M-P-A-N-A, CAMPANA! HEY! HEY! CAMPANA, HEY! HEY! C-A! C-A-M! C-A-M-P-A-N-A, CAMPANA! HEY! HEY!"
"eh, the Somos one?"
"SOMOS LUCHADORES, CAMPANA! SOMOS LUCHADORES, CAMPANA!"
"CANGREJO DESTRUIROS A TODOS!" the red-shirted audience cheer.
"C! R-U-C! I-F-I! J---O! CRU-CI-FI-JO!"
The whistle blows. Marty (Campana) and Shaun (Cangrejo) go neck in neck, with Shaun finishing first just before the end line.
"GO DAVE!" shout Kit and Hana. "C-A! C-A-M! C-A-M-P-A-N-A! CAMPANA, HEY! HEY! CAMPANA, HEY! HEY!"
Like Rainard, as soon as the whistle blows he leads in front of the rest. Though Matt (Cangrejo) speeds up, he was no match, and the gap between them grew wider.
"Hi-five, man," Kaitlyn celebrates with Hana.
"Hi-five, man. Even if it wasn't really a team effort...? Well, it was on the cheerleading!"
"No doubt."
"Meronnatatlongfirstplacerunnerssacampanaatdalawasacangrejoperothirdplacepalangungcrucifijo..." Nicole mumble-raps in agony, facing a wall.
"Meronnarunnerssanavioatmabilissilaperobobotalagamgayeartenkayadisqualifiednatuloylahatngmgalalakinaminsadash..." Orelya follows in the same stance, just that she was shorter.
"DIYOOOS KOOOOO!"
"Is it bad that I understand what they're saying?" Ann comments.
"Let's go Juhn!" shouts Kat. "C-A! C-A-M! C-A-M-P-A-N-A, CAMPANA! HEY! HEY! CAMPANA, HEY! HEY!"
"C! R-U-C! I-F-I! J---O! CRU-CI-FI-JO!"
"Let's go, house elders!" shouts Chinny.
"ALL FEMALE 100 METRE DASH PARTICIPANTS, PLEASE LINE UP AT THE STARTING POSITION BEFORE THE WHISTLE IS BLOWN!"
"Good luck, Sadrine!" shouts Lin. "You too, Jill!"
"Which Jill?" asks Jillienne.
"Both of us, I guess," the other Jill expresses.
The whistle blows. Fredi runs faster than Juhn, but Jonathan overtakes them both.
"C! R-U-C! I-F-I! J---O! CRU-CI-FI-JO!"
"Yay...!" shouts Nicole. "It's the girls' turn now, right?"
"What about the guys in sixth form?" asks Orelya.
"Fam, we don't provide sixth form just yet. Probably in two years time, when the other school building's finished," refutes Ann.
"Oh," Orelya responds. "Oy, Yso. Let's go to the other side, join the Campana."
"Where do we pass?"
Orelya gestures. "Race you."
They run towards the near-end of the sand strip and turn back towards the small crowd of Campana.
"You're fast," Kaitlyn compliments, looking at Orelya. "You should've joined 100 metre dash."
"Nah, I'm absolutely hopeless at the 100 metre dash. In fact, I might consider joining the –100 metre dash next year."
Negative one-hundred? My IQ is that.
"Good luck with your back pedal, then—"
The whistle blows. Sadrine sprints, going straight in first until Jill (Campana) overtakes her.
"Let's go, Campana!" shouts Kat.
"Go, Hana!" cheers Kaitlyn.
The whistle blows. "C-A! C-A-M! C-A-M-P-A-N-A, CAMPANA! HEY! HEY! CAMPANA, HEY! HEY!"
Andrea (Cangrejo) overtakes Hana. At some point, Jean caught up, but Andrea still crossed first.
"N-A-V-I-O ASUL BRO, ASUL SUL SUL SUUUL HEY! ASUL NAVIO!"
"CANGREJO DESTRUIROS A TODOS!"
"Let's beat the frick outta Campana!" shouts Martyn.
"Pshh. I doubt that," replies Hana.
"Did you teleport??!"
"Now it's time for the Salitzer sisters! Let's go, Kat!" shouts Kaitlyn.
"C'mon, Erica, we can do this!" shouts Jean.
"N-A! TO THE V-I-OOOOO! LET'S GO, NAVIO!"
The whistle blows.
Erica starts off in the lead, but she's quickly overtaken by good ol' Carrie. Kat speeds up before the finish line.
"Man, I shouldn't have," Carrie claims, panting.
"Done what?" replies Kat. "You did great."
"Thing is, I should've saved my stamina for our game against Crucifijo. I just had to act all heroic and fill in that spot, huh?"
"T'was that or be disqualified, mate. Let's freshen up before Vicky steals our shots," says Andrea. "It's fine, I believe the Crucifijo participating here are just as tired."
"Let's go, Erina!" shouts the upperclassmen in Navio.
First an Erica and now Erina? Wow... Nice name diversity in Navio.
"GIVE ME A C! GIVE ME AN A! GIVE ME AN N! GIVE ME A G-R-E-J-O!" shout the Cangrejo.
"Ever noticed how they only shout that when shit's tense?" Ann notes.
"LET'S GO, NAVIO!" shouts April unconsciously.
I like Cangrejo, but I like my house more. After all, I'm not willing to sleep at another person's house—
"Ayyy!" shouts Jean, hi-fiving other Navio as the Campana and Crucifijo audience applaud.
Erina finished first?
