Vick was at the side of the gym, feeling slightly dizzy, watching the men's basketball game, Cangrejo versus Campana. Ann and Marie were passing by.

Cangrejo: 58

Campana: 53

"God, I f-feel like my eye's b-bleeding..."

"Don't worry, man, it's not, it definitely ain't," Marie replies. "I'll hold your glasses for you."

"Wait, what happened?" asks Vick, shocked.

"It was Crucifijo versus Campana. She accidentally got hit by the ball."

"Oh," Vick responds.

"This is a bad day for me..." says Ann.

"Don't feel bad," Marie consoles. "You scored a free kick, Crucifijo's first point. Even Leon Messy would have trouble with a free kick at that angle. You did great!"

"One foul - Campana!" Coach Abbott announces. "Free throw - Cangrejo!"

"Don't mind how dirty the Campana play."

Yeah, Campana sucks.

"Know that when Crucifijo wins, Ykielle's gonna give you credit, too."

I feel a bit dizzy too to be honest... Why did I empty my water bottle so quickly? I should go.

"Wait up!" says Vick, trying to catch up with Ann and Marie.

"W-Why?" responds Ann.

"To be honest, I've been feeling a bit dizzy since this morning," replies Vick. "I'm heading to the infirmary with you."

"These things... My eyeglasses... They costed a bit over 60 bucks..."

Marie looks at the eyeglass frame and its arm. "It's not that bad, actually. I think you can just glue the hinge."

Vick peeks over. "Yeah, I think so too."

"Woah, Ann! What happened?" asks Kimberly, a Crucifijo a year above them and a friend of Ann's.

"Got hit by a ball. Campana versus Crucifijo."

"Oooh," Kimberley responds, lowering her badminton racquet.

"I'm guessing you were on defense?" asks Vick, putting her hand on her forehead.

"Mid," Ann corrects.

"Oh, that's nice," compliments Vick.

Marie opens the infirmary doors. "She got hit by a football," she tells the nurse.

"I'm kinda dizzy," says Vick.

"You should sit down," the nurse instructs them, pulling out an ice pack for Ann.

"Th-thanks," says Ann as she puts the ice over her left eye. Tears pour out of her other eye.

"Don't cry," Vick comforts.

"This day... I guess it just wasn't my day, huh?"

"You scored a point, don't feel bad!"

"Yeah, I know, but–"

Kat, the Campana goalkeeper, walks in, holding her left elbow. "Sprained elbow, I think. I'm not sure."

"Take a seat," says the nurse.

Kat sits to Ann's right. "Hey, sorry about what happened — wait, is that a black eye? Oh, god!"

"It's fine, you were the goalie, weren't you?" Ann responds.

"Oh, please don't throw beef at each other," murmurs Vick, sniffing a heavily scented cottonball.

"We're not, don't worry," responds Kat.

"What happened to you, anyway?" Ann asks.

"Crucifijo scored another point," Kat answers. "One of the Fujiwara twins, Ykielle and Kim — I can't tell who — kicked the ball, and though it went in, it hit my arm, which's been aching since recess."

"Wait, Ykielle's in volleyball, and Kim's in badminton... Right?" asks Vick.

"Ykielle... She's also in football," Ann corrects.

"Oh, she signed up last minute?"

"Y-Yeah."

Vick sniffs her cottonball once more. "I better go; our captain wants us to watch the guys play."

"A-Alright," says Ann. "You can go."

"A while ago the Cangrejo were leading by five points," Vick reminds herself, throwing the cotton away. "I wonder what the score is now?"
