Savannah's P.O.V

Demi and I have been dating for four months now, four amazing months.

Demi and I are great most of the time, we've been a little tense with each other the last week. Her ex Alexa broke up with her girlfriend and went straight to Demi for a shoulder to cry on and they have been hanging out and getting closer and closer each time. Demi has even blew me off for her which wouldn't have bothered me if it wasn't when we had a date planned, it's hard enough being in a relationship with Demi I don't need anybody's stupid ex trying to come between us. Although Demi tries to tell me that she's not trying to come between us I have a completely different feeling.

We have a week break starting tomorrow and Demi suggested we goto Dallas to visit her family but instead of flying we are going to drive there which will take us two days, our accommodation there and back has already been organised, we have decided to drive ten hours one day and eleven the next.

I arrived at school and went straight to Demi's classroom only to find her and Alexa laughing away, Demi has practically moved into my place but last night stayed at hers because we had a small argument over Alexa.

Alexa doesn't know that I'm dating Demi but she does know that Demi is in a relationship.

"Oh sorry I didn't mean to interrupt, I just need to talk to Miss Lovato about something but it's fine I'll come back later"

"Thanks" Demi replied.

Are you fucking kidding me! 'thanks' she could have at least seen what I wanted before dismissing me, I didn't mean to but the door slammed behind me I made my way to my locker to find Ashley standing there.

Ugh great, don't get me wrong Ashley has changed completely she's back to the old Ashley the one I was best friends with but I'm not in the mood for anyone let alone someone I'm not on great terms with. Cassidy and myself decided to help her out anyway she needed turns out the main thing she needed was a shoulder to cry on at her mothers funeral, that was a hard day not just for Ashley and her older sister who she now lives with but also for Cassidy and myself, Ashley's mother was like a second mother to the both of us she was actually there for me more than my real mother was.

"Hey" she smiled.

"Hi" I opened my locker and grabbed my music book out considering that's what I had first class.

"What's up?"

I just shrugged my shoulders not really wanting to talk about it.

"Demi again?"

I sighed and closed my locker then turning to face Ashley, she gave me a sympathetic smile.

"You should talk to her"

"Why, so we can get into another argument? No thanks"

"It's better to talk about it"

"No it's not! Demi just fucking defends her all the time"

"Does she know how you feel about Alexa?"

"I've told her a thousand times, she just replies with 'I'm allowed to have friends, you don't see me complaining about Cassidy even tho you's had a thing' she's so fucking annoying sometimes"

"Hmm maybe this trip will do you's good"

"Maybe"

"Jayleigh going with you?"

"No she wants to stay with Cas and Abby"

Just as Ashley was about to the reply the bell rang so we went to class. I sat at the back of the classroom not wanting to talk to anyone.
