Savannah's P.O.V

I woke up and rolled over to hug Demi but I was met with and empty bed, I groaned we went to get up but felt a sharp pain.

Oh that's right, I have a massive cut on the stomach.

I eventually got out of bed and made my way to the kitchen where I smelt food.

"Morning babe" I smiled as I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"It's actually afternoon, you slept all morning" Demi smiled as she turned around wrapping her arms around my waist.

"Oh"

"But it's cool, Jay is bathed and dressed and nearly fed, she can't wait to go look for a pup"

"Neither can I, I've only ever owned one pet and he was a German Shepherd, I had him from the age of one until he passed away a few months before I was kicked out, he was my best friend" I gave Demi a sad smile.

"I've never owned one so I'm so pumped, what type of dog do you want?"

"A white German Shepard"

"Then that's what we will get, now go sit your adorable ass at the table so I can serve you lunch" Demi gently slapped my ass as I walked away.

"Babe this is soo good" I said as I ate my Mac and cheese that Demi had made from scratch.

"Thank you baby, what do you want for dinner?"

"I'm cooking dinner"

"Uh no! Now what do you want?"

"Fine! I want chicken Caesar salad then"

"Your wish is my command"

"Momma! Mommy! Quick quick!" Jay demanded, I looked at her bowl to see that she had already finished her food.

"Geez Jay, I only just gave you your food like five minutes ago, how can you be finished already?" Demi questioned.

"I'm in a rush and you two are very slow" she pouted.

"Oh my god, isn't she cute" Jay squealed as she bent down to the glass window that the pups were behind.

"It's adorable!" Demi also squealed.

I had to agree with them, it's a white German Shepard like I wanted and by the looks of it, she isn't a very energetic pup but wasn't a lazy one either she was perfect.

"Hi, how may I help you?" A lady in her mid forties came up to us.

"Hi, are we able to get that pup out and have a better look at her?" I questioned.

"Of course, hey sweetie do you want to move back the tiniest bit so I can open the door?" The lady asked Jay which she immediately moved back, as soon as the door opened the pup ran straight towards Jay tackling her to the ground and wouldn't stop licking Jay's face.

"I want her momma! Please can we get her, please momma?" Jay squealed and giggled as the pup continued licking her face.

I looked at Demi and she was in awe as she watched the pup and Jay play.

"What do you think babe?" I poked her side to capture her attention.

"I think she is perfect, can we get her please?" Demi mocked Jay.

"Jay" I crouched down to her height which probably wasn't the best idea because now I'm in a hell of a lot of pain.

"Yes momma?"
