Showcase

Demi's P.O.V

I walked into school and to the office.

"Can I please speak to Mr Smith please?"

"Sure just take a seat and I'll let him know you are here"

I nodded and took a seat while fiddling with my fingers.

"Miss Lovato, please come in" Mr Smith said after waiting for ten minutes.

I stood up and followed him into his office and took a seat opposite him.

"How can I help you miss Lovato?"

"Uh I-I'm here to hand in my notice"

"You're leaving us?"

"Uh yes as much as I don't want to its what's best"

"May I ask why?"

"You'll find out later today I guess"

He nodded and stood up.

"Well it was nice having you work here, I've never heard a bad thing about you all the students love you"

"Thank you for giving me a chance" I smiled and shook his hand before leaving, I only have one class today because of the showcase and that is grade 12 music, I need to make sure everyone is prepared for later today.

The bell rang and my students piled in, I'm really going to miss this job but Sav means more to me.

"Morning class, I just want to let you know that this is my last day teaching here, it's been a pleasure being able to teach you guys" I smiled as I looked around the classroom, Cassidy had a massive smile on her face so did Hayley, Savannah on the other hand didn't look like she enjoyed what she had just heard.

"Okay with that being said I'm going to make my way around the room to make sure you's are all ready for the show case, remember this is half your mark so take it seriously"

I made my way around the room checking to see if anyone wanted help and if they did I helped them, I eventually made it to Savannah she was strumming away on the guitar.

"Do you need any help Savannah?"

"No thanks" she smiled at me and I swear my heart stopped beating, she hasn't smiled at me since Dallas three weeks ago.

I put my hand on her shoulder and she froze.

"I'm sorry about your father"

"Don't be, he's where he belongs"

"How are you feeling about performing?"

"A little nervous"

"I'm sure you'll do great"

"Thanks"

I gave her a smile before moving on to Ashley.

"Need any help?"

"No thanks, I heard what your planning I think it's adorable" she smiled.

"Hopefully it works"

"It will"

Savannah's P.O.V

Five people have already been on and now it's my turn.

"You've got this okay just go out and kick ass" Cas smiled.

I took a deep before walking out onto the stage with my guitar. I sat down on the stool and looked at the crowd, the whole school was here but I was only worried about the one person in the front row.
