"Come on Jay we will be late if you don't hurry up"

She came running into the lounge room with a massive smile on her face.

"I'm ready! Do I look beautiful enough Mommy?" She asked as she walked towards Demi, Demi bent down to Jayleigh's height and fixed out her dress.

"You look like a princess, a very beautiful princess"

Jay giggled then gave Demi a hug and a kiss.

"See you later, have fun" Demi smiled as she stood back up and looked at me giving me a smile before walking towards me.

"Do you know how long you will be?"

"No" I replied as I double checked to see if I have everything.

"Can we talk when you get home please? You've been avoiding me for days"

"Maybe, depends how I feel when I get back"

Demi sighed and leaned in to give me a kiss but I turned my head to the left so she kissed my cheek.

"Have fun munchkin"

I closed the front door behind me then put Jay into her car seat before getting in myself and headed to chuck e cheese.

"Momma, are you okay?"

I looked through the rear view mirror to see Jay looking at me.

"I'm fine sweetie"

"But you don't look happy, are you and Mommy fighting?" She questioned.

"Look, sometimes things happen to people and they don't take things very well, I'm just trying to handle things okay, everything is fine"

"Okay momma" I could tell she wanted to say something else but she decided against it.

Half an hour later we arrived at our destination, I got both myself and Jay out of the car before heading towards the door. Once inside I scanned the room to find who I was looking for, a smile appearing on my face once I found them.

"Hey guys" I greeted them as I got closer.

"Hey Sav" Jersey replied.

"How are you?" Amy asked.

"Eh I'm alright, yourself?"

"Yeah great"

I looked behind me to see Jay and Chevy giving each other a hug.

"Do you two want to go play for a while before ordering lunch?" Jersey asked the two of them, they both nodded and ran off to play so I sat in the booth opposite the married couple.

"How are things really? Not to be rude but you look like shit" Jersey spoke, I eyed her before dropping my gaze to the table.

"I can't sleep, whenever I close my eyes I see him there"

"Have you spoken to Demi about this?"

I looked up and met Jersey's worried gaze and shook my head.

"Sav you need to talk to her, you can't just shut her out"

"Why not? Everything will be a lot easier, I won't have her nagging at me all the time"

"She's only nagging you because she wants you to open up to her, she wants you to be able to talk to her about all of this" Jersey looked at Amy and Amy nodded then stood up and left.
