Hayley's P.O.V

We just arrived at school and I'm extremely nervous because I know I'm going to see Cas and it's going to break my heart.

"Wait, I noticed Demi wasn't around last night nor this morning, where is she?" I asked Sav as we walked the school halls.

"We had an argument about going to Dallas for Christmas and because I said no she booked a ticket to go there but before I knew that I brought her family and Marissa each a plane ticket for around Christmas time, once I handed her the tickets I left her alone for a bit turns out she decided not to go but I made her"

"Why?"

"Because, she misses her family like crazy and after all she's done for me she deserves some time away"

"That's nice of you" I sighed.

"How are you feeling this morning huh?"

"No better, I just want to hold her in my arms, I miss her like crazy and it hasn't even been a whole day"

"Would you take her back?"

"One hundred percent yes, I know I'm stupid but she's the only person I've ever loved and she's the only person I ever want to love" I have her a small smile.

"How could you say that! I'm heartbroken, how can you say you never loved me" Sav joked.

"I'm sorry but what we had wasn't real" I smiled at her and she burst out laughing.

"Oh my god, now my stomach hurts"

"Dude it wasn't that funny"

"I know" we stopped walking when we reached Sav's locker but not only were we at Sav's locker Cas was too and she had red puffy eyes, her makeup was ruined, I imagine that's what I looked like this morning when I arrived at Sav's but Cas was worse, just by looking into her eyes I could tell she was broken like she needed someone to pick up the pieces and put her back together, all I wanted to do was pull her into a hug and let her cry on my shoulder despite the fact that she hurt me last night.

"Do it" Sav said to me.

"What?"

"I know what you're thinking, just do it she needs it"

I looked from Sav to Cas then back again.

"I can't"

Sav sighed and pulled Cas into a hug, Cas was now crying and a lot people were giving us weird looks.

"It's going to be okay" Sav rubbed her back.

"I miss him" Cas replied.

Who the hell does she miss?

"I know you do, just think he's now with his son the two of them are probably up there talking about basketball or arguing about whether Australians do ride kangaroos to school or not and we both know your dad is going to win because he's been to Australia so he knows they don't but your brother will continue to fight because he thinks he's right"

I'm so confused right now.

"We all have a free second period so I'm going to get you two to talk and work out your problems, I'll be the marriage person thingy and you two can be the crazy married couple that need to communicate with each other so you don't lose something special, alright? Good we agree on it" Sav answered for us so I guess we don't have a choice but it doesn't bother me I want to work this out.
