Hoseok's car pulled off to the side in front of where you were standing. You opened the door and got inside, waving at Hoseok and letting out a quiet "Hi".

"So for today is there anything in particular you wanted to do?" When you shook your head Hoseok continued. "Alrighty. We're gonna go to a kiddie park."

And with that, you two were driving on your way to whichever park Hoseok had in mind. The car ride started off fine, but, just like last time, Hoseok's breathing became too much to handle in the silence. You reached over to turn on the radio and, unlike last time, Hoseok glanced over at you before returning his gaze to the road.

"That's something we'll eventually have to change," he mumbled. It was so quiet you couldn't tell if it was directed at you or if he was talking to himself. Either way, your heart rate started to pick up. Imagining yourself in the car with Hoseok, no sound to drown out his huffs, was making your stress levels rise.

Hoseok glanced over at you with concerned eyes. "We won't do it anytime soon, so you don't need to worry."

"Worry? I'm not worrying," you laughed shakily.

"You're sucking all the oxygen out of the car," Hoseok deadpanned. "With all that gasping you're doing I'm gonna pass out."

"A-Ah, sorry," you apologized, trying to calm yourself down.

"Remember, I'm not looking to rush into things. We're gonna go at a slow pace, yeah? When I say we're gonna change something it doesn't mean right away. We'll start with easier stuff first before close range stuff," Hoseok said.

The rest of the car ride was relatively quiet. The radio was still playing but for some reason you felt scared to acknowledge it, to hum to the songs you liked. It's not like Hoseok was gonna scold you and suddenly turn off the music. But you just couldn't get your body to cooperate.

"We're here," Hoseok announced when you arrived at the park, stopping the car and getting out. "Let's go sit on the benches over there."

The park was empty. It was in the middle of the day so most kids were probably in school. Still, you had expected some younger kids here but alas, there weren't any. As you were taking in the surroundings, your eyes locked onto the swings. You hadn't been on those in so long and you could see all your memories replaying themselves in your mind. The swings had always been your favourite.

"Actually why don't we go over there?" Hoseok suggested, pointing to where you were staring. You looked at him with wide eyes and he continued in a teasing tone, "I'm pretty sure if I don't let you go on them you won't be paying me much attention, am I right?"

You felt your cheeks heating up with shame but tried to ignore the feeling as you hurried to the swings. The moment you were on one you began moving back and forth slightly, embarrassment now forgotten as delight began to fill you up.

"I hope you're aware we didn't come to the park just to swing," Hoseok said with a chuckle.

"Y-Yeah. So what did you have in mind?" you replied, trying to focus more on the brunette.

"As you know all of this "training", if you will, is eventually going to lead up to you spending the day with a guy you've never met before. It could just be two friends hanging out or you could even go as far as to call it a date. Whatever the case is, conversation is probably going to be the key to getting along with him. So today I'm going to have you talk to me," Hoseok explained.

"Isn't that the same as last time?" you asked, puzzled.

"It sounds like it, doesn't it? However, there's a catch: I'm not going to be the one to start it. You are going to have to take the initiative and engage in conversation with me. If you don't say anything then we're just gonna sit here in awkward silence."
