"Hey Hobi, how goes it?" you greeted as you hopped into his car.
"You seem to be in a good mood today. Did something happen?" Hoseok noted.
"I just feel confident today, y'know? Like this lesson is gonna be the most successful we've had," you replied.
"That's good," Hoseok grinned. "I'm thinking about taking us to either a park or a fast food joint. Which do you prefer?"
"Uh, the place with food," you said, as if the answer was obvious.
The brunette chuckled. "Sorry, guess I should've known that one."
"That was a no-brainer." You clicked your tongue in disapproval. "I'm disappointed, Hoseok."
"Just thought I'd ask in case you felt like getting fresh air," Hoseok reasoned, turning to look at you.
"First of all, keep your eyes on the road before you kill us, buddy. Second of all, I don't care about the outdoors if I have the option of being with food." Hoseok focused back on driving, sporting a satisfied smile. You weren't quite sure where that was coming from. "What did you do?"
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"The weird face," you supplied.
"You're doing pretty well right now," Hoseok said.
You stared confusedly at the curly-haired man. "With talking?"
"I guess that too. What I really meant was your reaction to the radio," Hoseok answered.
Now that he mentioned it, you realized the radio wasn't on. Just as he had hoped for, the volume of the radio had been decreasing with each ride in the car. There were some times where it became a bit difficult for you so you'd stay at the same volume level for a few rides but eventually Hoseok would turn it down. It seemed today he finally decided to shut it off for good. You were kinda surprised you didn't notice the moment you got in the car.
"Talking took my mind off it I think," you said. "I was more focused on the conversation I didn't pay attention to the radio."
"Do you think you'd be able to handle the drive without talking?"
"Let's give it a shot."
Starting from that moment, silence fell between you two. You watched the passing scenery through the passenger window as Hoseok kept his attention ahead on the road. The hum from the car was the only sound you could hear. Unlike the first ride you had together, Hoseok's breathing wasn't as noticeable for you. There were a lot of things that you used to be bothered by that you no longer gave much thought to, though. You were finally getting used to being with Hoseok just as well as you are with Yoongi. Speaking of him, you were sure your best friend would be ecstatic to hear about this. And, if things continued this well throughout the lesson, you were sure he'd be happy about the progress you made.
"Are you okay?" Hoseok asked, breaking you from your train of thought.
"Yup. I'd tell you if I wasn't so don't worry," you replied. You noticed Hoseok was turning into a plaza, meaning the drive was basically over. "That wasn't too bad."
"Let's just hope it's not a one-time thing," Hoseok said quietly.
"What do you mean? I'm sure I'll be able to do this again," you replied as Hoseok pulled into a parking spot.
He glanced at you before turning the engine off and stepping out of the vehicle. "Not with me. I mean with other people."
Oh, right. Eventually, you were expected to be able to do all this on a date of some sorts. Thinking about it made you feel nervous, which certainly wasn't gonna help you during this lesson, so you pushed the thought to the back of your mind. You got out of the car and followed Hoseok into a (fast food place of your choice). You were about to sit at a table when you heard a strangled noise and felt a tap on your arm. You looked over your shoulder to see Hoseok pointing to a booth in the corner of the room.
