You woke up to the sound of your phone ringing. With a groan of displeasure, you rolled over and grabbed the device from off your bedside table. Thankfully it wasn't Mei or anyone from work calling to schedule you, which really isn't how you wanted to start off your day. Instead, you were pleasantly surprised to see that the call was from Hoseok.
"Hello?" you answered, raspy voice making it obvious you had just woken up.
"Oh, shit. I didn't mean to wake you up. You can just go back to sleep, it isn't important," Hoseok said hurriedly.
"No, no. It's all good. I have to get up at some point. What's up?" you replied.
"I was wondering if you had any plans today? Specifically, like, right now?"
"Not at all. You want to do a lesson?" you guessed, getting out of bed and going to your closet to pick out an outfit.
"Actually no. I was wondering if you wanted to come by the dance studio and watch the little kids," Hoseok said.
Your eyes bugged out of your head and you began nodding your head rapidly. "Yes! I'd love to."
"Whoa, you're a lot more excited about this then I was expecting," Hoseok laughed. "I'll text you the address, okay?"
"Thank you. I'll see you soon," you replied before hanging up. With newfound motivation, you hurried to get yourself ready for the day.
You surprised yourself by only needing thirty minutes to do everything you needed to do, including eating a quick breakfast. You left your apartment and followed Hoseok's instructions to get yourself to the dance studio. It was only about twenty minutes away. Not too bad, especially while in a car. When you arrived, you walked into a small lobby with a few chairs around the room and a receptionist's desk in front of you. Unfortunately, there was no one behind it so you decided to take in the room while you waited for someone to come.
To your left, there was a large magazine rack that people could choose from to pass the time while waiting. To your right, there was a long hallway with six doors, three on each wall, and one final door at the very end of the hallway. The six that were all down the hall were wooden but the seventh door was a sliding door made of opaque glass. You thought you noticed some shadows from inside the room and you could definitely hear murmurs coming from somewhere but you weren't sure if it would be appropriate for you to just walk in. Besides, for all you knew that could be a totally different class and you'd only end up embarrassing yourself if you walked in.
Suddenly, the first door on the left opened and a woman walked out. She noticed you standing there and quickly rushed to the desk, smiling apologetically. "I'm so sorry to keep you waiting. Can I help you with anything?"
"Um, yeah. I'm a friend of Hoseok's? He asked for me to come by," you stated awkwardly.
"Ah, I'll go let him know you're here. Please hold on for one moment."
The woman made her way to the end of the hall and opened up the sliding door, peeking only her head into the room. Guess that was the right room after all. The woman looked over at you and motioned for you to come closer. As you began approaching her, the woman started walking towards you.
"He's just in the room with the kids. Enjoy the dancing," the woman informed as she passed by, continuing her way back down the hall and to the front desk.
When you made it to the sliding door you stuck your head into the room, looking around until you spotted the familiar curly-haired male you were looking for.
"(Y/n), come in. Don't be shy," Hoseok said with a smile, gesturing you over.
The room was large with mirrors all along the walls to your left and right. Full body windows covered the walls ahead of you, allowing the room to be lit up naturally by the bright light from outside. Hoseok was standing around a group of young kids in the corner of the room to the left, all of them staring at you in awe. You finally stepped in and closed the door behind you, taking tentative steps to where the brunette was.
