A smile had plastered itself on your face the moment you stepped through the doors of the Hope on the Street studio. Despite both your hands being occupied with two cups of Iced Americanos, you managed to open the door with your foot expertly. This wasn't the first time you've done this, after all. You walked up to the receptionist desk, raising your hand as a way of greeting the girl sitting behind it.
"Just here with a delivery," you told Nikki.
"You know where he is," she said with a knowing smiling, jerking her head in the direction of the hallway.
"They aren't in the middle of a routine, are they?" you asked, trying to listen for any music playing.
"Nope, they finished one awhile ago and I think Hoseok is still giving feedback. Either that or they're about to start dancing again so I'd hurry if I were you," Nikki answered.
"Got it."
You walked down the hall to the room with the sliding door. Knocking three times softly, you slid the door open with your foot and stuck your head into the room. Hoseok was leaning over his laptop, hands pressed against the desk it was sitting on, looking at it intently, while the kids were all spread around the room stretching or practicing dance moves. They all noticed you trying to sneak in, the majority of them smiling and waving.
"Hobi, your girlfriend is here!" one of the children, Jace, announced.
"Angel!" Hoseok exclaimed, tearing his eyes from his computer screen and focusing all his attention on you.
You held the two cups up victoriously as Hoseok skipped over to you, taking one of the drinks from you with a grin. He took a sip through the straw and hummed in delight, walking back over to where the computer was and placing the cup on the desk.
"You know me too well," he smiled, coming back over to you.
You shrugged and smirked. "It's a gift."
"We've still got some time left before the lesson is over but you're welcomed to stay and watch." Hoseok gestured towards his pupils, radiant smile still on his face. "I'm sure they'd love to have you as their audience."
"Hobi is also nicer when you're watching," Naomi piped.
"Yeah, he might even let us end class early," Tyler added.
"Alright, don't get too ahead of yourself," Hoseok warned jokingly.
"But you'll get to spend more time with (Y/n)," Allyson reasoned.
"She's got a point," you pointed out.
"What happened to being serious dancers, guys?" Hoseok sighed, placing his hands on his hips.
"We like seeing you happy, though," Naomi admitted.
Hoseok seemed to be contemplating whether he should give in to the children's wishes or not. Seeing as he was having a difficult time trying to decide, you walked up behind him and wrapped your arms around his waist, pressing your cheek into his back.
"It wouldn't hurt to give them something to work for," you suggested. "And since we don't have to work tomorrow it means we can go home and start relaxing earlier."
One of the brunette's hands came off his hip and laid atop of yours. He grabbed onto your hand and spun around in your arms so that you were facing each other. He looked at you thoughtfully before sighing, looking defeated.
"You're a cunning woman," he muttered before turning back to his kids. "Alright! We're gonna run through the routine another time and if you guys do it perfectly we'll end class early. Only if it's perfect, though, otherwise we're staying 'til this lesson is supposed to end."
The kids rejoiced and scurried around the room to get to their starting positions, ready to begin the dance. Hoseok walked over to his laptop and you followed with a devilish grin stretched across your face.
"You're evil, you know that?" Hoseok huffed as he searched for the correct music.
"We both know you'd love to go home early. No need to thank me for giving you this chance," you teased.
"This all depends on their capabilities to dance flawlessly."
"Or," you drawled, circling your arms around Hoseok's neck when he straightened up and faced you. "You could let them go regardless of how well or bad they do because you're the best dance teacher and boyfriend ever? Not only will you make your beloved students happy but you'll also make your wonderful girlfriend very happy, too."
Hoseok groaned and tried to push you off him. "You don't ever stop, do you?"
"Someone's gotta lookout for the kids," you pouted exaggeratedly. "And herself, apparently. I want to cuddle with my man."
"You guys are being gross!"
You rolled your eyes and turned around to look at the children through the mirror they were currently facing. "I'm trying to help you guys out over here so I'd be careful about what you say. Besides, you guys will be doing this one day too when you guys yourselves someone to love."
"Kerry is just jealous because the boy she likes doesn't like her back."
"Hey!" You turned to Justin with a frown. "No need to out her in front of the whole class." You turned to look at Kerry and smiled sympathetically. "If that's true then forget about that boy. You'll find someone who appreciates you one day, hun."
"Enough about love," Hoseok cut in. "Everyone get ready, I'm gonna start the music in ten seconds."
You turned to look at Hoseok with hopeful eyes, fluttering your lashes dramatically. He pointed to the chair at the front of the room and you obeyed the silent command with your head hanging low. The moment your butt touched the chair the music started and the children began their routine. Hoseok slowly made his way around the perimeter of the room to stand next to you, watching the kids with hawk eyes. He eventually leaned down so his mouth was right beside your ear, eyes still locked onto his students.
"Only a minute and a half more and then we can leave."
