A couple a weeks ago I applied for an apartment off campus. I'm in need of my own space. I'm separating myself from kizzy. From every body tbh. However I did I forgive her. But We aren't close. I tried giving her a chance and she proved to me why I shouldn't have. Only thing I had on campus was the things in my bedroom. moving would be easy.

it didn't take the movers long to transport everything to my new apartment. I sat on boxes looking at all this space I have to myself.

I'm on my way out of my home when I notice Lucas. I started to walk back inside because I don't want anybody knowing where I reside. It's really going to be hard trying to hide what me and nick have going on. I'm tired of only seeing in class. I want to see him outside of it.

"What's up re? What ya doing over here?" He asked me walking instep with me. "I live here now. What are you doing over here? I thought you lived on campus?" I asked looking at him. He shook his head. "Nah. I needed my own space and my own shit." He answered. "I feel you." I said stepping onto the elevator.

"So what ya up to?" He asked. "Getting something to eat. I'm starving." I said. "Ok good. Then I'm buying." He says now with me following him. "Good because I did not feel like driving." I said in relief. "Nigga, who said I was driving?" He questioned playfully. I pointed. "You." I said causing him to laugh. "I'm just fucking with you. You got a place in mind?" He asked. I shook my head. "Not but we'll find something." I said approaching his truck. He has one that looks just like nicks.

"I heard that it's a lot of food trucks near the beach." Lucas spoke. "Let's do it." I responded. After getting out foods we sat on the back of truck bed. "Your girlfriend is ok with you having female friends?" I asked stuffing my mouth with fries. He nodded. "Yes. I'm cool with her having male friends. As long as ya set boundaries. And ya trust your partner you have nothing to worry about. I would never jeopardize my relationship with my woman. I'll neva humiliate her either." He spoke. I nodded.

"Where you always like this?"

He shook his head. "Nah. I fucked up a good female with my own insecurities and being controlling. It wasn't her I didn't trust. It was da niggas I didn't trust." He added.

I nodded eating my food enjoying the warm environment. "What about ya? Ya cool with your nigga have female friends?" He asked. "I can't answer it right now. Because everything is so early and new. So I really can't say. But I know one thing I hate annoying ass exes." I said causing him to agree with me.

"I'm not I'm ya business or watching you. Becareful talking to nick." He said causing my mouth to hang open. "How did you know?" I asked surprised. Me and him have been very discrete.  "By the way he looks at you. And he's always watching for you." He responded. I nodded. "Why becareful?" I asked.

"Because it's like playing fire with fire." He said not saying nothing else. "Fuck. I knew I should've just left it alone. I'm not trying to ruin his career." I said shaking my head.  "Ruin. The school is his. It's his family's." He spoke causing me to gasp.

"You're lying."  He shook his head. "You didn't know?" He asked me. I shook my head. "Not at all. I thought I was being discrete." I spoke to myself. How the hell. Me and Lucas isn't close. So if he knows I wonder who else does.
