After getting out of the shower. I got dressed in my bikini. I made sure I had me a towel and my phone before I left the room. I've been trying to be cool. But I can't believe Luke saw me naked. He saw Everything. I don't know If I should be embarrassed. Atleast I was waxed and hairless. So a win is win. But still he saw me naked. He saw my coochie. Ohh lawdd.
I made it to the pool and it was so packed. I was trying to find somewhere I could sit. As I'm scoping the scenery I accidentally dropped my phone. I tried catching it but I couldn't. I closed my eyes waiting for it to hit the concrete but it never did. "Here." I heard a voice speak. I opened my eyes seeing My phone in his hand. "Thank you." I spoke reaching for it.
"Reign?" He asked I looked at him in confusion not understanding how this stranger could possibly Know my name. "Do I know you?" I asked in confusion. "Joseph." He responded. I stood there trying to remember where he knew me from.
"Im nicks brother." He added. My eyes widened. "Sure is. Hey Joseph. How are you?" Remembering who he was now. "I've been doing well actually. Just enjoying life. My new single life." He uttered with small grin. But I could tell he didn't seem too pleased with that.
"You and your wife are separated?" I questioned. He nodded. " you could say that. But it's temporary." He answered. And this were I don't know what to say. I didn't expect to hear that. I guess Joseph and nick are 2 fellow fuck ups. I laughed to myself. I can't say that.
"Well that's funny that you say that because me and nick are broken up. We're done." I spoke getting the same look he gave me. Eventually we sat down and I begin telling him more about the situation.
"Wait so after all this time you find out that your mom was alive. Undead?" He spoke speechless. "Mm hmm." I answered. "And that's not even the beginning of all this craziness." I said telling him more about it.
" You were in a coma for 2 in half months. Nick thought you were dead. So he got back together with kaylee. Only to find out that you were still alive. Very much undead. So you show up to the door basically saying I'm alive my dad's been hiding me from you. Which you then begin to find out that he has a baby w Kaylee that had been put up for adoption ." He said causing me to nod vigorously.
"That's exactly what I'm saying Joe." I said in disbelief that all of that had taken place w me. To hear it from someone else's mouth actually sounds crazy as fuck.
"Well cheers to our vacation ." He said sourly. Causing me to laugh lowly "right.cheers." I said falling silent
"What happened with nick? I don't understand him sometimes." I asked wanting a genuine answer.
"When nick was younger he'd always play with innocent girls feelings.He was young, reckless and horny. He'd choose the most innocent ones to corrupt.But when jessica came along it was something different we were best friends before nick even met her. He knew that I was about to ask her out because I talked to him about and the exact same day I saw them kissing." He said to me. I just listened not really understanding if this would help my question.
" when i first met you i acted the way I did to piss him off. He always wanted what was mines. But anyways afterwards Jessica would always talk to me. One day we were at a party and we was waisted. We ended up sleeping together and we didn't stop it just continued. I've always had strong feelings for." He said looking at me. I nodded in response."She ended up getting pregnant with my child. And I wasn't going to tell her to abort the baby. I tried to come clean but she wouldn't. She waited until the wedding date to end it all. I don't feel proud for what I've done. But it's already done." He said to me. Now I remember the left him at the alter part. But he left so much out. No wonder he's so insecure the way he is.
No wonder he accused me of cheating when I really wasn't. No wonder why I couldn't convince him otherwise.
"She left him at the alter. Not only did she leave him she was pregnant with his brothers baby." I spoke out loud in disbelief. I nodded my head to myself falling into silence again."I'm kind of speechless. But everybody make mistakes." I said not knowing really how to process all the emotions he could've felt.
"I'm not proud of my own actions. Nick isn't just the bad guy. We both are. We both was wrong. But it already happened and we have no choice but to keep moving on and living life. Life never stops. It keeps ok going." He spoke now looking at me.
"Well you're right about that." I voiced agreeing w him. This is really making me realized I Really shouldn't have got mad at nick for moving on. For all he knew I was dead. So how selfish of me to not want him to move on. What could I have done if I was dead hypothetically.
"Do you know how to swim?" He randomly asked. "Yes. I'm not sure ho-." Before I could finish my sentence I was pushed into the water. "What's was that for you dick?" I asked still in the water. "You didn't let me finish what I had to say." I added seeing him laugh.
"Yes was All I needed to hear. That actually felt really good. I don't feel bad at all by the way." He spoke causing me to splash him with water continuously. "You're my brothers girlfriend, it's my job to annoy the hell out of you." He added causing me to roll my eyes.
"Ex."
"Girlfriend. You'll be back with him soon. He really has changed and grown a lot reign. A lot. He's a good guy, he may have been a horrible brother, but does right by the woman in his life." He spoke. "And don't tell him i said that. You'll make him think I like him." He said walking away.
