It's been a couple of months since I told all my friends what happened . They've been over my home ever since. I love there company. I feel so much better surrounded by so much support and love.
I sat on the floor between Luke's legs while he sat on the couch. They were talking about going out on some trip. We've been discussing for a minute now. And I'm tired of hearing about it. Stuff like this gets me overstimulated. I don't care where we go or what's on the itinerary. I'll just show up and pay what I need to that it that's all. A few minutes into the discussion I stopped listening.
It's crazy how nick hardly crosses my mind.the love I needed was already in front of me. But I was too selfish to see that. I don't understand why I was so quick to be w him. I was so desperate for his love. So desperate to just be w him. And I honestly don't know where it came from. But I'm not ready for that yet. I bit on much more than I can chew.
It is crazy though how your love never dies for person. Despite of anything.
"You okay?" Lucas asked stepping out onto the balcony w me. I nodded. "I needed some air. So tired of planning this trip." I said feeling my nerves getting worked back up.
He stood next to me. I leaned my head against his arm feeling the warm breeze that's putting me at ease. "Is that what's really bothering you?" He asked me. I just stayed in silence. "You really don't talk about you anymore. I know I see you smiling and laughing. But what's going on with you re?" He added.
"It's a lot I'm still processing everything. But I promise I'm ok. I'm better than I was before. I'm so thankful for you guys. I love y'all so much. Thank you for being my friend." I said with my arm loosely hanging around his waist.
"No thank you. You changed me and the way I was thinking. You're the first girl that I genuinely ever really cared about and love as a friend. I'll never think I would be a female friend if we wasn't fucking. But you you're different." He said. I smiled at him. He sees me other than somebody to fuck on. And that really means so much to me really.
"Are they still talking about the trip?" I asked. "More like arguing."he said causing me to groan. "Fuck. Come on let's head back inside." I said with him following behind me. "Do you hear that?" I asked approached the stairs to head down them. "It's probably just a movie they got playing."
"Thank god." I said proceeding to head down the stairs. Jasmine and Keith didn't noticed me and Luke had approached bc they were going at it. Literally kissing like they were starving. " I have rooms upstairs guys." I said causing them to try and fix there clothes.
" You leave the kids for 5 minutes nd dey about ta start making babies." Lucas said with the hint of laughter.
"I know like 2 teenagers on prom night." I said causing look to laugh then everybody side eyed me. "What?!" I asked. "Why am I getting the side eye?"
"You're not as innocent as I thought. Wow." They said in unison. "Everybody just shut up." I said laughing. Sitting on the couch putting a movie on.
As the movie began I found my self admiring my friends. I love them so much. I'm so thankful for them. They keep me going tbh.
