I sat on the couch with my knees up to my chest for about an hour, just staring at the television. Louis came out of his room, buttoning the buttons of his black shirt. He glanced at me before running his fingers through his hair and walking over to me.

"I was thinking, now is a good time to take that trip," Louis said.

"What trip?" I asked. He chuckled before he sat next to me.

"You're the one who made the rules. Our bimonthly trip together," he clarified. I almost forgot about that. I sighed and pushed my hair out of my face.

"How can you even think about going on a vacation right now. Maybe we should listen to what Michael said and part ways here," I suggested. Louis' smirk dropped.

"No," he said simply. "Visionaries are special, yes. But the truth is, Michael doesn't know what's going to happen either. And I'm not letting you go that easily. You made a deal with the Devil. You have to honor that," he said. I scoffed.

"The contract has been out the window for a while now, don't you think?" I countered. His finger pulled my chin up and made me look at him.

"Megan, do you want to leave? If you honestly do, I'll help you, but be honest with me. I can't read you like I want," He asked sincerely. I sighed before I looked up at the ceiling and really thought about it as Louis' hand fell away from my chin. The truth was, I didn't want to leave him. I was having fun and I didn't want to leave before getting what I wanted. And it wasn't to be famous anymore.

"I don't want to leave yet," I admitted.

"Then we continue like nothing changed. The only difference is that we have an explanation now," he said. It was a good way to look at it.

"So where would we go?" I asked, changing the subject. He smirked.

"We could go wherever you want, but I will have to go to my other clubs soon and check in on them," he said.

"Then lets do that. Let's go visit your other clubs and take this show on the road. I hear Hamilton live on Broadway is worth it," I said trying to look on the bright side. Louis laughed.

"You're adorable," he smiled as he touched the tip of my nose with his finger. I scrunched my nose up before I stood.

"What about work?" I asked. He chuckled and stood too.

"I think the owner will let it slide," he smirked. I went to my room and started packing. I packed a few simple outfits and a few fancier ones just in case. Louis came into my room after a while.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Packing," I answered. He scoffed.

"Don't bother, just get your essentials. We'll go shopping when we get there," he said. I turned to him and crossed my arms.

"You spend way too much money on me. What's wrong with the clothes I have?" I asked.

"Nothing wrong with the clothes. It's just... more fun this way. Plus, it's what I normally do," he said with a smile as he placed his hands on my shoulders. I sighed at him. I almost forgot that money meant nothing to him. He leaned forward and placed a kiss on my forehead before he left my room. I sighed and turned back to my bag to repack.

After repacking with only essentials, and taking Louis' private jet to New York, I was already a little worn out. It didn't help that paparazzi was all over us when we landed at the airport. The waiting town car finally took off and we had silence. I sighed and leaned heavily against the seat. Louis reaches a hand over and massaged the back of my neck.

"Tired?" He asked. I shrugged.

"A bit," I admitted. The car took us to a shopping strip downtown.

"We won't stay out long, promise," Louis said as he gave me a hand out of the car. Louis let me pick the stores first. I stuck to the more basic stores. After H&M, I dragged Louis into Victoria's Secret since I needed underwear and lounging clothes. I was actually having fun being able to pick out my own clothes. I picked a few bras and a handful of underwear as well as some sportswear. I was looking at the lounge wear when Louis came to show me what he picked out for me. It was a complex-looking pale pink corset with mesh underwear that had a white bunny tail on it. I laughed.

"So I can be your own personal bunny, Mr. Hefner," I joked as I brought my hands in front of me in a rabbit like gesture. He smirked and stuck the outfit in my shopping bag.

"Exactly," he played along. I blushed, not expecting him to actually confirm it. We moved on and Louis picked out a signature silk black robe and slippers and well as a few other things before we went to the checkout. Louis dragged me into a Chanel store for something's for both of us and then to a Gucci store. I could easily see that Louis was used to enjoying the finer things in life.

Louis took us to a dress boutique next with all of our bags in his hands. He set them on the waiting couch near the dressing room before he went looking through the racks. I didn't even go with him. I stood by the fitting room and waited for him to come back with what he picked out. The first number I was zipped into was a sparkly maroon strapless a-line ballgown that ombréd into a gold near the bottom. It fit me perfectly and had a gold strip that created a high waistline. I stepped out of the room to show Louis.

"What do you think?" I asked as I did a slow turn. He smirked as he eyed the dress.

"Wow, that dress looks amazing on you," one of the store clerk's said to me from behind the couch Louis was sitting on. Louis simply nodded his head.

"I couldn't agree more," he smiled.
