Louis ended up buying every dress he picked out for me, including a Jessica Rabbit looking dress. After our day of shopping, the car took us to the back of a club. I looked at Louis curiously as he got out and offered me a hand.
"I thought we were turning in for the night. I'm not even dressed to go to a club right now," I said as I looked at my jeans and Rosie the Riveter-style shirt. He smirked and took my hand anyway.
"We are turning in. I have a loft at every club, remember?" he said. I'd completely forgotten about that. After getting out of the car, I realized that we were at a different District club. The driver went to get our bags but Louis stopped him.
"I got it," he said as he took our bags out of the car. I followed Louis through the back door and to the elevator. I sighed and leaned against the back wall. I was exhausted.
"Oh yeah, there's something I forgot to mention," he said, watching the door.
"What's that?" I asked tiredly.
"There's only one bedroom here and it's a completely open floor plan except the bathroom," he answered. I stood up straight as my eyes went wide. The elevator chose this time to ding and open the doors. Louis walked out like he didn't say anything at all.
"Wait, Louis... Louis!" I yelled after him as I followed. "Why are you just now mentioning this?" I asked heatedly. He smirked as I looked around. He wasn't kidding. This was a real loft. From the few steps I already took into the loft, I could see the couch, bed, and kitchen.
"You only call me Louis when you're mad at me or when something is serious," he noted with a smirk. "I didn't want to ruin your mood early, but it's unavoidable now. This was my first club, so I was only getting things started. After this one, I had the idea of possibly renting out the lofts so I started making them two bedrooms," Louis explained. I sighed and looked around. Even if one of us were to sleep on the couch, there would be no privacy. Louis set the bags down and came to stand in front of me.
"But you don't mind, do you?" He asked sensually. I sighed and took a step back.
"You heard what Michael said," I reminded him. As I turned to walk away, Louis caught my waist and pulled me into him.
"Michael has been nothing but an errand boy since he was created. Don't worry about what he said. What do you want?" Louis asked. I was holding my breath as I met his eyes. He was making this difficult.
"What I want doesn't matter," I avoided his question.
"It matters to me," he replied. I gulped.
"This wasn't the deal," I tried again. He smirked and brought me even closer.
"So what?" He said. My hand went to his cheek on its own.
"Screw it," I muttered to myself before I brought my lips to his with a burst of courage. Butterflies swarmed my stomach on impact. Kissing Louis was in a category all its own. I heard the ripping of clothing followed by the already familiar swoosh of his wings. Louis hooked his hands on my thighs and picked me up. My arms went around his neck automatically. Soon I was being laid on the bed. My hands slid down his neck and started trying to undo the buttons on his blouse. Louis moves my hands away and ripped his shirt off like it was one-ply toilet paper. He pulled back just enough to let me glimpse at his well defined chest.
"It wouldn't have been easy to take off anyway with my wing boner," he joked. I chuckled as he brought his lips back to mine fiercely.
"Luci, we shouldn't," I breathed as his mouth trailed down my neck. He stopped and pulled up to look at me again.
"But do you want to?" He asked breathily. I nodded automatically. His fingers unbuttoned my blouse lightning fast. I tossed my shirt aside, my blue satin bra exposed. Louis let out a breath as he placed soft kisses on the top of my chest. This was supposed to be wrong. I wasn't supposed to be doing this with Louis, but the feeling of him hovering over me was too overwhelming to think about anything else. If his kisses left me that dizzy, I wanted to know what the rest of his body could do. I wanted him.
