The Steve Harvey interview came and went faster than I was expecting it to. We talked about our engagement and our relationship, Sunni's engagement 'speech' and a few other things. I had to wear a dress that was belled after a high waist because I was starting to show a little. A tiny bump sat low between my hips and Luci was in love with it. He rarely kept his hands off of me these days. I was 14 weeks along. We saw a doctor before the Steve Harvey interview and found out that we could find out the gender at 16 weeks. I was excited and so was Luci.

Before I knew it, we were getting ready for the interview with Ellen. I wore a blouse and poodle skirt combo that Luci picked out while his wear was more relaxed than his usual. He wore a pair of khakis and a baby blue button up. It felt like the introduction was short lived as I waited behind the stage with Luci holding onto my hand. We walked out and took a seat across from Ellen.

"You two have become quite the item lately. Megan, how did you end up with that handsome man sitting next to you," she asked.

"It actually all started because I lost my phone at his club one weekend," I chuckled lightheartedly. We chatted a bit more before the more 'shocking' topics came up.

"So my producers tell me that you both have something to share with me," Ellen said. I smiled at Luci, giving him the cue to go ahead.

"We actually found out a little while ago that we're pregnant, Ellen," Luci announced. The cheering from the crowd was right on cue.

"How exciting! And you don't know the gender, correct?" She asked. I shook my head.

"I just turned 16 weeks which is when it's finally possible to see what the gender is," I explained.

"Well our producers and a sonogram technician got together before the show and actually did a sonogram and they were able to find out the gender. So up next, we're going to play a game to help you guys figure it out," Ellen announced. There was a commercial break while the stage was reset. When they finished we moved to stand on the other stage where balloons were waiting against the wall.

"Are you okay? Do you need water or anything?" Luci asked. I shook my head as Luci's hands went to my hips.

"I'm okay. I'm more excited to find out what we're having," I smiled at him. The director cued us back in and we jumped right into it. Ellen explained the game to the audience members and cameras after the introduction finished. The game started and we began choosing balloons. Luci would bring the ballon to me and I would pop it over my head with the needle I was given. The balloons were black so we couldn't see inside. The first few balloons were empty but I had a feeling that Luci was doing that on purpose to build the suspense. After five balloons, I was getting a little anxious and impatient. I held the sixth balloon over my head and poked it with the needle. Pink confetti exploded around me. I don't think my smile could've gotten any bigger. Luci picked me up in a hug before placing a fleeting kiss on my lips.

"Congratulations! Now that you know the gender I guess it's time to start thinking about names, but before you go, we have one last thing for you. From our sponsors over at Amazon, we have a complete baby starter kit for you. It includes a car seat, stroller, crib, baby monitors, a changing station, rocking chair, and a year's supply of diapers," Ellen said. I thanked her sincerely before she did her closing remarks and the cameras stopped recording.

"Seriously, Congratulations on your little girl. I wish you all the best. Don't forget my invite to the wedding," Ellen said to us with a big smile before she left the stage. The items were going to be delivered to our house later. We got into the car and headed back home.

"What are you so deep in thought over?" Luci asked as we walked off of the elevator. I sighed as I set my bag on the island counter. I stood for a moment before turning towards Luci.

"I was just thinking about raising a baby here, in the loft above a club," I spoke my thoughts out loud. Luci paused before looking at me.

"You're right," he admitted. "We should look for a house," he said. I nodded as I sat on a bar stool. Luci was quick to put his hands on my stomach.

"Does that sound good baby girl," he coped at my stomach. I chuckled as I relaxed, swatting his hands away.

"We should think of names too," I reminded me.

"I would suggest Angel, but that's too obvious, isn't it?" He joked. I smiled and rolled my eyes at him.

"Yes, way too obvious," I agreed. "We've got time to think about it though," I added as I stood. I stretched with a yawn.

"You're tired?" He asked. I nodded. Luci and I had been sleeping together in the master bedroom lately. Even if he wasn't tired, he would lay with me and hold me until I fell asleep. It was a routine I was quite fond of.

"I'm going to shower first and then lay down," I said. I went to the bedroom and grabbed my robe before going into the bathroom. After washing my face and showering, I headed straight for the bed. Luci was already laying there waiting for me. He opened his arms for me when he saw me.

"Come here," he said softly. I went to lay in his embrace as I sighed. His hands went to my stomach as he released a breath. I was so exhausted, it didn't take me long to fall asleep.
