Chapter 41 Meeting a Beloved Person

Emiko's POV

"Emiko..." I heard someone calling out for me, I ignored the voice and turned away from it.

"Hey, don't turn away." An unfamiliar voice said, pulling my shoulder. "Go away, I just want to sleep Luffy." I groaned, pushing him away.

"I'm not Luffy, Emiko, you hadn't change, did you?" The voice asked.

I slowly opened my eyes as I looked around my surroundings, it was all white and bright.

"W-Where am I?" I said, looking around. "Law, Kid, Luffy, Killer?" I called for them, sitting up.

"I'm glad your awake, Emiko." A voice behind me appeared. I turned behind and saw someone quite familiar.

He had black raven hair, which was similar to Luffy's. He didn't wore any shirt but he did wore a black pants that touches till his knees. He had a tattoo on his shoulders. Not to mention that he has freckles on his cheeks.

"W-Who are you?" I asked, staring at him. The man chuckled at me, "You don't remember me?".

"No, I don't really remember meeting you but, you look kind of familiar..." I pondered, thinking really hard to solve the puzzle.

"Do you really want to know my name?" The man smirked. "Well, I would like too know your name." I replied, hoping that the name sounds familiar.

"Ace, Portgas D. Ace." He said, smiling at me. "A-Ace?" I asked. That name sounds so familiar.

"You still don't remember me? What a shame." Ace sighed, "Remember when Luffy, Sabo, you and I were siblings?" He asked, hoping that I would remember.

"Oh! I remember! Your that boy who spat Luffy on his cheeks when we first met!" I exclaimed. "I guess you did remember." Ace chuckled.

"B-But, I thought you were dead?" I asked, "and most importantly, where am I?".

Ace frowned at me and sat next to me, "Yeah, I'm dead but, you're in the afterlife."

Afterlife?! What?

"W-What am I doing in the afterlife!?" I asked. "I decided to bring you here, to chat with you for a while while you are sleeping down there." Ace replied, looking into my eyes.

"Woah, that's cool." My eyes sparkled. "I thought you were gonna freak out from a second ago." Ace chuckled at me.

"Will my heart stop beating there?" I asked. "Obviously, so I really need to be careful." He replied.

Ace's POV

"So, Emiko, how's life? Want to tell me what happened?" I asked, placing my arms on my knees.

"It's a long story but, I can make it short, I was kidnapped by slavedrivers, sold to Eustass Kid, taken by Luffy, got kidnapped by Law again, a Marine got me, I almost got executed, saved by Luffy but was taken away by Kid, dropped by an island called Punk Hazard, my heart got taken away by Vergo, retrieved it, formed a. alliance with Luffy, Kid and Law, got sick after a celebration and ta-daa." Emiko explained.

"Alot of things happened in your life," I chuckled, "I've been checking on you for a while and it seems like some guys admire you."

"Me?" Emiko pointed at herself. "Yeah," I replied. "Tell me!" She said, lightly shaking my arms. "Nah, I don't want to ruin the story of your life." I teased, smiling at her.

"But if the boys ever break your heart one day, I'll make sure that I'll haunt them for the rest of their lives." I looked at her seriously. "You're protective as ever." Emiko giggled.

"No, I'm just scared that my little sister will get depressed, I want to see my little girl happy as ever, that's all." I replied, stroking her cheeks with my thumb.

"Your skin is so smooth and soft." I said, stroking both of her cheeks.

Law's POV

Emiko had not woke up from her sleep for the past, two hours. "Killer, can you please wake Miss Emiko up?" I asked him, walking towards him.

"I tried but she didn't respond, she's still sleeping." He replied, pointing at Emiko.

I stood infront of Emiko and lightly shook her shoulder, "Miss Emiko, wake up.".

She didn't woke up.

I began to wonder why Emiko wasn't waking up, was it because she was de-

No, that can't be.

"Move out of the way!" I pushed anyone near her and started to check her pulse.

Dead silence was all I felt.

I shook my head and went to press my ear against her chest where her heart was located.

Nothing was heard.

I repeated the steps, making sure that my ears were not decieving me.

Her heart wasn't beating.

"Miss Emiko might be dying!" I shouted, with my heart beating faster than ever.

"EMIKO-CHAN DYING?!" Luffy shouted, pushing me away and suported Emiko's back with his arms.

He pressed his head against Emiko's chest, not trusting any single word I said.

"N-No! That can't be!" Luffy cried. "WHAT?! EMIKO'S DEAD?!" Kid snapped. "Calm down Kid, I'll do something to revive her." I said pushing him away.

Killer stared at Emiko's lifeless body, "Why?".

Emiko's POV

"I guess it's time for you to go now, everybody in your room discovered that your dead." Ace told me.

"Oh, I hope Chopper or Law won't do an operation on me." I giggled. "It was nice talking to my sister, see you next time." Ace said.

Suddenly, he pulled me into a hug. He tightly wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder. "Goodbye, Emiko." He whispered.

Soon, I opened my eyes in the real world.

"Miss Emiko, you're alive!" Law exclaimed. He grabbed both of my arms and looked at me dead in the eye.

"I thought you were going to die, if you do, Luffy and Kid will kill me." Law told me, slowly caressing my cheeks with his thumbs.

Not long, he pulled me into a hug. I was shocked at first but I hugged him back anyways.

"I thought you were going to leave us Miss Emiko." He whispered while stroking my hair.

I'm glad that I met my long lost and dead brother, Ace.
