Chapter 51

Law's POV

"Trafal-guy! Emiko's losing her heartbeat!" Chopper said. I immediately ran to her bed and looked at her.

"W-What?!" Kid shouted. "Go away, I'll revive her!" I shoute and grabbed the dephibrilator.

I placed both of them on her chest and shouted, "Clear!". Electric currents were sent to her body but she didn't react to it. "Clear!" I sent in another one.

Beep beep beep beep, beeeeeeeep.

A long beep was heard. "Emiko?" I said, reaching out her arms. "You've got to live!" I shouted at her. "Emiko!" Kid shouted and barged in the room.

He pushed me away and tightly held on to her delicate hands. "Emiko, wake up!" He cried. He nudged her and rest his head next to her on the bed.

"Wake up, please, I beg you!" The Supernova sobbed. "I beg you..." He croaked.

Tears streamed down my face as I wiped them all. "EMIKO IS DEAD?!" Luffy shouted. He darted through the room and looked at Emiko.

"No, that can't be! Zoro didn't stab her that bad, right?" He asked. Kid looked at him with bloodshot eyes and shook his head.

Tears threatened to drop from his eyes and croaked, "She was my only hope.".

Emiko's POV

"Emiko~" Someone softly sang in my ears. I let out a soft hum and slowly opened my eyes.

I was not on someone's bed.

Instead, I was sleeping on the clouds.

I looked behind me and saw, Ace! "Ace!" I exclaimed and give him a bear crushing hug. Ace chuckled at me and I felt his fingers stroking my hair.

"What am I doing here again?" I asked him again. His expression turned soft, almost like he was sad.

"How's your day?" He suddenly changed the subject. "Ace, is there something wrong?" I asked him with worried eyes.

Ace let out a deep sigh and looked at me. "Emiko," He said, grabbing both of my hands, "I decided that," He looked into my eyes, "You're going to stay with me here, forever.".

I looked at him, not believing every single word he said. "You're kidding, right?" I told him. He shook his head, "No.".

"Why, why can't I live down where I really belong?" I softly asked him. "It's not safe down there, I just want you to be safe." Ace replied.

"What about Luffy? It's dangerous down there and he get's to live on!" I told him. "Luffy has a dream, I can't just bring him up here and tell him that it's dangerous to live there, he's stubborn!" He replied.

I immediately shut my mouth and looked else where, he was right after all. Ace let out a sigh, "Look, I'm sorry but it's the sake of your safety, I promised Sabo t-" Before he could finish his sentence, I cut him off.

"I know, I know." I sighed.

And that was when I became the Guardian Angel of those three boys.

It was fun writing this book and all but sadly, this book is finally completed with 51 chapters.
